I used to enjoy cleaning my car
Filling a bucket and splashing some car shampoo or other in it, washing it with a sponge, giving it hose down leathering it off, and then getting the wax out and spending some time polishing. Now I realise it's all completely pointless. There I am on Sunday, washing my nice new Volvo and polishing it up thinking "This is just not the way to wash a car. I've seen what Dave does, and I'm just pissing in the wind. I might as well not bother." Sigh... Curse you, Bowerman! |

Yee hee...
I know exactly what you mean - especially when the only hose I have access to is the local Texaco's self-wash thingy, now that I no longer patron the handwash bandits down the road. I cringe to think of their one-latrine methodology, let alone buckets! |
