    Default Canada - fly/drive

Ok so, judging by how great the California tour looks, I was thinking Canada.

I haven't driven much in Canada so can't suggest a huge route plan but one area I was looking at was the Banff and Icefields parkway which is supposed to be an incredible scenic drive taking in glaciers, ice fields and lots of mountains.

...and yep, I have a few Canadian Petrolhead friends too

Canada is amazing - you can pretty much pick any route you like from coast to coast and it'll be impressive. It's just one of those countries. Another one to consider for 2011.

Ooo, another coast to coast option Hmmm

The only bit I've driven is the GP circuit and around Montreal which is a great city, love the old French district. You've got Niagra over that side too. I really fancy the glacial wilds though!

I have driven extensively around Canada from East coast to West coast, and even up to Yellowknife and frankly Half of Ontario & Alberta and all of Sasketchawan & Manitoba arent worth bothering with.

Best Idea would be Vancouver to Calgary via the Jasper and Banff National Parks.

I would say though, there arent a lot of hire car options in CA for anything like performance cars.......and the RCMP are rather harsh with people hooning it.
