Default which video camera for my car?

I want to take some in car videos of track days and the like.

Can anyone recommend a bullet cam or something else suitable?

You can't beat a Go Pro for price or quality.

I've got a mount that fits a go pro onto an Atom
If you're driving a soft top with the roof up, the storm outside better have a name.

I've just got a Hero2 (GoPro) and roll bar mount, it does quite nicely

These are a couple of stills from 1080p video in 170deg mode.

Obviously the first two are low light

I'll be happy to purchase that from you if you've no further use for it, Did try to buy one with the camera but nowhere in the frozen wastelands that I'm currently living in had one in stock.

I'll try and make the next Ace night, though probably only in the snotter.

I now need some video editing software. Any recomendations for something that a technophobe can easily learn to use.

Whilst I might just do that some time in the distant future, I have three PCs that work well for now. ...

I use Adobe Premiere for PC, I find it reasonably intuitive and am by no means a computer techy type. There are video tutorials online but It is professional software and quite advanced so you may prefer something a bit more basic. The amount of export settings alone can make your brain hurt!

The good thing is most of these things have a 30 day trial you can download to see if you get on with it.
