    Default RIP Ferdinand Porsche

Bit of a sad post but thought I'd let you guys know in case you didnt.

Ferdinand Alexander 'Butzi' Porsche who designed the 911, the race cars, and some of the Porsche Accessories you may buy passed away today aged 76.

Quite a shame really as he died quite young, but he has designed one of the most iconic cars made - which not many people can put thier name to.

You are right but he also designed a far more iconic car than the 911 which has been around a lot longer and sold in far greater numbers.......the VW Beetle

Actually , I must be wrong too, as the numbers dont add up, so he must have been the third ferdinand, and his grandfather must have designed the beetle
