You could always fit a towbar and bring a caravan with you.

              ittle tip for you all:
it may be close by but whatever you do dont stay at the cranley hotel (its actually a pub), I did last time and it was pretty terrible both the lack of pretty much everything and the copetious amounts of attitude. Find a premier in or travelodge and have a much better time of it.

I might be able to help with a few rooms at a Holiday Inn nearby.

I have stayed at Surrey University at conferences etc, its not luxury but very good value for money. As the Dunsfold event is later this year, the students will have gone so the rooms will be availalble, £40 for B and B but I am sure discount could be haggled as it is a charity event (just get TCT to put a call in to reserve a block?). Also perfect for the run from the Cathedral as its right by there. Not sure if the bar will be open though :-( That could be a clincher for some.

sorry, scrub that, just phoned to see if they could do a block booking and a big conference has booked all the rooms, never mind, worth remembering for next year, the bars are open so good oportunity in 2013 for a block booking/party?

                    Any update on this?

I'm one of the events organisers on South East Scoobies and we'd like to know what the possible options are. We've not started a proper list yet, but thats because we don't know if we have to commit to both days (or can the club attend on just one) and whether there is camping arranged onsite or nearby.

                    Thanks

                        Hi all,

                        apologies for the slow response.

Dunsfold unfortunately have said no to camping on site....
if you're struggling for somewhere to stay let us know and we will see if we can find somewhere for you

Re campsites - no idea how good this place is but it's very local

One thing to watch out for with some Premier Inns is there car parks sometimes have nasty little ramps , the one near us lovely setting etc but no good whatsoever if you've got a low slung GT2

Couple of people have recently booked the Premier Inn at Guildford central for a decent price if that help.
