Interesting,

I've just had a bit of an idiot moment with commutercoupe, so i guess i can be the first to ask for advice.

I managed to scrape the back of the near side rear 3/4 down some brick work, it has managed to flatten the wheel arch in 2 places, now i'm quite confident it can be pulled back out and sorted. But the question is more, how do I protect that area of the car until I can arrange to get a 'dent' doctor to have a look at pulling the flat spots on the arch out.

Jumplead, best you can do to protect the metal (as long as you are not too concerned about how it looks for the moment) is to get a touch up pot from your local Halfords & just dab the paint into the scrape. This won't affect nor bother anyone who then comes to sort the repair out.

Harsh asked me to run a few lines to introduce the business & give a little background to who I am, what I do etc.
Now I'm not very good at this sort of thing, but in a nutshell...............
I'm an RAF trained airframe engineer who's now been working on some really interesting stuff for the past 20 years or so.
I 'run' the business (I don't really do the term 'running a business' justice as I'm pretty hopeless at that side of things) on the basis that I keep my overheads as low as possible - no fancy premises - which keeps my life simple & means that I can devote as much time as I can to doing what I love - restoring, preparing & painting some really interesting cars.
I am incredibly lucky, I get to do a job I truly love & to cap it all get the opportunity to work on some really diverse & stunning machinery; there isn't a morning when I don't look forward to going to work.
I work on the basis that it is no more expensive to paint a Honda Civic than it is to paint a Ferrari 250, the same process & labour costs are involved in both.
Anyway, enough rambling.
For anyone that hasn't had a chance to trawl the website - I've tried to pick some pics of the most diverse selection of stuff I've done over the past 8 years or so.
