My name is Oliver Grams, born in Bremen, Northern Germany, in 1964 and now living nearby in Oyten. I hold an International Motor Sport Licence (C Licence). I am a full time professional trainer and my aim is to fulfil your expectations and for you to be happy and exhilarated following training.

I don’t really have any hobbies, as I live and breathe motors. I no longer race but I continue to love driving, especially on tracks. My current motor is a 2002 BMW M3 with 360 bhp and a Honda CBR 900RR, yeah, a fireblade. I have taken both out on many circuits throughout Europe and many of these are included in my track selection.

If you want to know more about my past motor sports history and experiences please feel free to contact me.

When we have larger groups we use additional highly experienced instructors, all English speakers, and all with motor racing backgrounds. We offer

Before each training session there will be an "intro to theory and driving physics".

We will then go on track with a maximum of 2 cars at a time, to ensure focussed training. Your instructor will sit in the co-drivers seat whenever they are in your car. A passenger can be carried by you when your instructor is not in your car. Race cars should have a co-drivers seat installed. Passengers cannot be carried in the back of any vehicle. Group training, with 2 or more cars, often proves to be good fun.

If you pay for individual training it will be one to one. This is more expensive than group training sessions and highly personal.

When your instructor is in the car with you, you will receive short and clear instructions about the passages of track coming up and other important information.

We never drive for more than 20 minutes without a break. When we are on the track your instructor will sit in one car during the first run and change to the other car during the second run. The car with the instructor in will always set the pace with the other car following a short distance behind taking the same driving lines. Free practice is possible after initial instruction sessions.

Driving mistakes will be commented on immediately to allow the same passage of track to be taken correctly next time round.

High levels of concentration required for track driving can take it out of you, so, after every session of 15 to 20 minutes we will take breaks of 15 to 30 minutes. During the breaks we’ll discuss with you your impressions of your last run and analyse any driving mistakes.

NEW : I have recently purchased a helmet intercom to improve communications when in open top cars, such as the Super 7 or Lotus 340R. Effective communications is key to quality track training.

IMPORTANT NOTICE : Please ensure your car is in good condition! Especially check brakes, tyres and suspension, all must be in very good condition. Check your tyre pressures before commencing training when your tyres are cold.

Your car should have standard licence plates and normal car insurance. Please carry all your documents with you, including your driving licence, insurance, V5 and MOT (if required). On some circuits track / racing cars are allowed without plates and in such instances there will be no insurance cover.

Best regards
Oliver

Hey Oliver, welcome to Petrolhead Nirvana...glad we were able to chat over on FB.

Which european tracks do you specialise in? If you can tie in some discount rates on track time for our guys in conjunction with race instruction it should tie in well with our UK driver training partner Roadcraft.
