Anyone interested I've booked myself on this track day at Brands Hatch. It's an open pit lane so loads of time on track in a relaxed manner, 105db noise which is pretty good, so most won't have a problem.. It's the shorter Indy Circuit so great for first timers too, don't be afraid.. !!!

Be nice to get a few friendly faces, these things are always more fun in a group.... details:

Thats actually my birthday so i might well have a play as well...

the weather will decide which car though, either the Atom or the M3 i guess.

As you know Stu, I've just booked one for Sunday 20th December but that's 2 months away which is an age!

Will see if I can get the day off work and come along to play with you guys. :)

Stu, Anything I need for this trackday?I have a lid.
Are road tyres going to get shredded?Will standard brakes be up to it?What about insurance?

it's the diversity of cars on track that struck me , everything from mega bucks supercars to smokey old 205 Pug GTiS that looked likely candidates for scrappage allowance.

Certainly was a lovely day, the weather gods were kind... Great variety of cars and lots of serious track monsters out there.

Definately worth trying to organise a PN track day... The variety of cars amongst the forum members would make it a very interesting day.
