October will see some more surprises as well as the usual mix of supercars, sportscars, daily hacks and fun people. Get there early to make sure you don't miss out on the chilli chips and cheese Ace Cafe speciality.

Thanks to the guys at Lotus HQ for bringing down their 211 Race car and the guys at Farbio for bringing a couple of cars down for the September meet.

We had another full car park and welcomed a host of new faces as well as the regulars.

Our tours for 2009 are now all done but the 2010 tours are ready to go and the sign up list will be opened at this meet.
so, get there early to make sure you get in the car park.............

Ace Corner is the junction of Beresford Avenue and the old North Circular Road, between the A40 and the A404 (Harrow Road).

Travelling anti-clockwise on the North Circular Road: Take the second exit - signposted for Park Royal - after the traffic lights at Brentfields Road (where you'll see Ikea and McDonalds) . Turn right, then right again onto the old North Circular Road. The Ace is 100 yards on the left.

On my drive to this event I was hit from behind. Not having pen and paper in the Atom I gave all my details to the other person and said email me if you're going to claim. It was dark and I could see no damage to the Atom (there was none) and what looked like scuff marks on the passenger door of the other car.

Anyway I heard nothing until late last week when my insurance company sent me a letter advising me I had not reported an accident and could I fill in a report form. :banghead:

What is it with people?? I've filled in the form stating I was hit from behind and it was entirely the other drivers fault.

Yeh, my thoughts entirely I can only assume rather than pay for damage they want to get the insurance company to pay up or it was worse than I thought.

To quote them as they got out of the car "I didn't see you, you're so low down."
