Hi, I've been looking to find a site where I can go to meets and trips in a convoy of sports and supercars. Im in Yorkshire and currently running a Guards red Porsche Boxster until my Ferrari fund is all saved up. Are there many Yorkshire people on here?

see you tonight? or is a bit far for you?

Kinky

It's NEVER too early for that :)

Weekday nights are bad for me - purely for work reasons unfortunately. But I'll make it there sometime soon. I promise (might have to book a days holiday).

My local PN posse usually head up there - so easy enough to tag along with them.

cool,

no worries....perhaps more worthwhile when it gets warmer.

scarily we filled the car park to overflowing in December. I shudder to think what the summer will be like

we're gonna need a bigger car park!

It is rather tempting, it would not take anything at all to convince me to go every month.

I can imagine Harsh that in the summer its quite a scene and I can't wait, the tours look awsome and the company is great.

All this talking just makes me want to get my car out of the garage and drive lol

Morning gentlemen (and the ladies if there are any around these parts)

Just found this site and would love to go on some of the runs you guys organise.

Unfortunately just crashed my cerb a couple months back but hopefully getting it back soon.

problem is the car needs sorting before i can go on any trips. so the big ones may be out this year (gutted as really fancy the bridge tour in france) but i may be joining the likes of the DSR and the Breakfast club meets.

hope to catch some of you around :)

anyone from up north on here?? im from newcastle.

Greetings Al,

Not wanting to rub salt into the wounds, was your Cerb mishap on the goth day that Whitby had? I ask because I saw a sad looking Cerbera sat in a bus stop on the way back to Middlesbrough from Whitby that day.

Hope the car is sorted in a timely manner and hope to see you on some of the trips once its sorted.

Graebob is in Middlesbrough, he drives a parcel van but isn't that regular here.

Hi Maxx,

A little more info....

I trained as a race driver with the Jim Russell School at Donington Park in 1990 and started racing straight after. In 1991 I trained as an instructor with them and worked as an instructor for the next 4-5 years as well as running an IT business (and racing). At Russells it was 95% race driver training plus I was doing private coaching as well. The IT biz got too busy so stopped the race school work but still did a few coaching jobs.

In 2001 I packed in IT and went back instructing and coaching which is really where my passion is. I stopped racing in 95 also but started again in 2001 and have been racing ever since. I do the 2 big 24hr events each year Nurburgring 24hr & Britcar 24hr .. oh, and .. oh, i did the really big one in 2003 ... no, not LeMans, the 2CV 24hr at Snetterton :)

I race loads of stuff, whatever i'm offered really, Lotus' in the Elise Trophy, MR2s/MX5s/Fiestas. Work wise I still do some Race School work the "The Racing School" (Donington & Rockingham) as I enjoy it. I am Chief Instructor for Lotus-on-Track which is a trackday club specifically for Lotus cars but my main work is trackday & race driver instruction/coaching.

Good Morning,

better late than never - I am Carol (Carola), originally from Germany, living in London since a couple of months and due to that fact I am most of the time still alone on my private tunnel runs! But I already signed up for Milau (can't wait can't wait can't wait) and try to see you guys more often at the Ace.

My car history started with an Autobianchi A112 a million years ago, I sold my TVR Griffith before I came to England and bought a Tuscan Mk1 shortly afterwards. Never thought that 2 cylinders less could be so much fun!

My dark secret is only light grey, not so dark at all: a passion for cigars and motorbikes (both currently suppressed!).

Harsh

Hi Carol, your dark secrets are shared by a few on heree, well the Motorbike theme certainly is..
dont speak to Dan H whatever you do when you're on tour, you'll end up buying a bike.

it's taken all my willpower not to be convinced by him up to now!

Hello all

Lovely looking site you got here. Managed to find it through a search on facebook! Am also a member on PH, so there are a few recognised usernames here. Mine is Graeme_Gman on the there.

Unfortunately my current drive isn't quite as exotic as most, but certainly not a bad car, once past the stigma of the badge. Currently driving a Hyundai Coupe V6, thets only very lightly played with. Will probably be looking at changing later in the year though, so keeping my options open.

A few pics

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/fab16v/Frontpic1-1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/fab16v/Rearpic1-1.jpg

I'm in Potters Bar, but always driving around various North London area's as I work in West Hendon. If anyone spots me around, give me a flash or a wave and I'll try and return the favour. Will try and pop along to one of the future Ace Cafe meets as it's not far from work and been there alot in the past for various VAG meets.

Hi Graeme, firstly welcome to PN and thank you for the compliment.

With regards to your car, there's no stigma to any badge over here (except maybe an electric city car!!)

it's a good looking beast actually, and i'd like to hear more about the 'lightly played with' aspect.

you're welcome to come down to an Ace meet and put some names to the faces on here.
the next one is on April 13th

Thanks for the welcome.

I seem to have a thing for slightly out of the norm cars as far as badges go, having owned 2 Skoda's in the past, so am used to getting some stick from people, but it does seem that the badge snobbery of the past is nigh on extinct. I do have to agree about the whole electric city car thing though! ;)

Thanks for the compliment your side too. The 'lightly played with' is pretty much as it say's on the tin! I like to make subtle changes that could look factory, so have kept the exterior to just de-ambering the front lamps, the Tuscani badges and the black alloys. Apart from that, we have an air induction kit courtesy of pipercross and a stainless exhaust from the cat back. Certainly gives it a nice exhaust note though, have had lots of compliments about the noise it makes. :)

Unfortunately the only real downside is the power. Standard figure is 165bhp, which for a 2.7 V6 is pretty poor. Not had a rolling road session since the exhaust and filter, so not sure of exact figures now, but would guess around 180ish now.

I shall certainly keep my eye on the Ace Cafe meet in April, especially as it's a bank holiday! Would be good to meet up and put faces to the names.

Harsh
16-03-09, 21:18 PM
thoughtful changes then...
the black on red looks good on the alloys and i still cant figure out why car manufacturers think amber lenses look good?

helping the car breathe and making it sound nicer's a great start, but as you say 160bhp from a 2.7 v6 is not that great...
i doubt a remap would do much and realistically you wouldn't want to stress the engine more by forcing induction so i guess you've done all you can..

so will we be seeing a 'i need a new car' thread from you soon?
if so can i suggest a vw corrado VR6 as a good starting point?

Graeme2508
16-03-09, 21:41 PM
I probably will be looking at a different car later in the year, but will probably be looking at something a little more practical. Absolutely love the Corrado, but with all the camping, mountain biking and things that i get up to, will probably be looking at something like an A4 Avant. I have a thing for nice sleeper estates at the moment. Fast but practical at the same time.

Evening all.

Heard about this place a while back through Harsh's facebook and on PH, so figured I'd see what all the fuss is about. Liking the site so joined up :)

Not driving anything especially exciting with 4 wheels at the minute, that'll change before the year's out I'm sure. Just about to start work on building a rally raid spec 4x4 for some continent crushing, bajas and desert expeditions. Did have a Skyline GTR, sold that and have yet to bother replacing it, there'll be something fun soon I expect.

Bike wise I've got a Yamaha R1, and I recently sent my 4 day old Honda HRC fibrelade cartwheeling down the road.

Enough waffle from me. :)

Thanks for the welcome matey, rest assured I've no problems making a pest of myself. Plenty of familiar faces from pistonheads etc.

Still harbouring some injuries from the off but otherwise all is well! Can't say the same for the 'blade but it was only a Honda, I'd be bothered if it was a Yam ;) Hope all is well with you mate, hope to catch you at the Ace sometime but I'm marooned up north at the minute. At least there's beer.

A decent car is essential for me, but I'm looking to do something a bit special travel wise next year, so it's kinda on hold for now as I sink money into other ventures, plus I've got a years worth of bike TD's booked up near enough!

Been of member of pistonheads for a couple of years so know a few people on here already and get the occasional invite from Bachi to petrolheads nirvana meets/events so thought i was about time to sign up.

Originally a Dutchman but moved to England late 2006 after a work exchange program, now living in Essex.

Done several Kentruns over the last couple of years, been to VW a couple of times and really enjoyed Dash for the coast this time last year so hoping to join in on many more interesting events.

Just been on a Paris Run with some members of this Forum, so thought that I would join and see what it was all about. Looking down the list of members, it seems that there are many familiar 'handles'. :)

Anyway, it looks to have an interesting mix and I look forward to being part of it. Car-wise, I have a Morgan AeroMax, a 1968 Honda S800, with a Morgan Aero SuperSport on order for delivery early next year. My Head Office has a 911 C2 with PDK, that is sometimes purloined by me for use, when she's not looking! :coolgleamA:

Hello All!

Im Chris and from Hertfordshire UK. I first heard about the "club" last saturday at the top gear charity track day and thought I would join to meet like minded people and possibly go on tours, which I am certainly partial to as long as the police are long way away and my car doesnt break down!

I have the following cars in order of age
Triumph Spitfire roadster
Jaguar XJS V12
Vauxhall Elite
Jaguar S-type
MG TF

Oh and I have a motorbike too
Gilera Cougar Custom

By far the most powerful and most modified is the Jag XJS

XJS is as current though on board computer will be coming out soon however.
The spitfire now has the soft top on after rear window was polished and refurbed a bit. Also this is straight after re spray so was not machine compounded yet hence not so shiny!

Hi all, I'm Martin, some of you would have seen me at the Ace on Monday with my pride and joy, the '98 Maserati Ghibli GT.

I don't have any dark secrets except that if I don't find a job soon it might have to go, but I'm trying not to think about that at the moment.

I'm trying to work up the enthusiasm to service my daily driver, which being a recently acquired saab 9-5 really ought to involve dropping and cleaning out the sump :-/ That could be interesting and messy.

Anyway, after Monday, I've no doubt you'll see more of me around, and I might try and get some petrolheaded mates to tag along too.

As a student I don't have a great car especially compared to yours.. it's a golf V R32.

Well.. I hope to be part of the team soon enough :)

Hi guys!

My name is Jay, Im 24 and I work as an Estate Agent (or Ahole to some people lol) and I am an absaloute nutter when it comes to cars.

I think I am about as obssessed as that word means!

I know Robin with the Diablo and Reece with the Tuscan who kindly invited me down to your July meet at the Ace Cafe where I met a few of you guys including Harsh.

My car, well my daily driver, pride and joy and overall bain on my wallet is my Peugeot 207 GT THP 150. The engine is a 1.6 Turbo that has an upgraded Front Mount intercooler by Forge and is about to have a lot of custom work done!

It has custom painted 19'' Khan wheels, custom spax height adjustable coilovers and also a full bodykit that is custom painted.

Next on the agenda with the engine work is the custom stereo installation, if you want pics I can post some up!

Now, in November I get my baby! a 1966 289ci Ford Mustang Convertible! This is currently owned by my uncle and due to insurance reasons I am not allowed to drive it - but when im 25 in November it is mine!!!

Again, if you want pics I can do what I can..

Anyway, enough of me blabbing!

Nice to be here...

Jay

Hi Harsh

Lovely to see you as well on sunday, your car also looked fantastic - I meant to have a look at the inside of it....

Don't worry, I prefer the S2k as well. I only keep the MX-5 because I like posing in it, and it does have a little turbo, so is faster than the standard '5s.

It doesn't surprise me that Nancy has not sold her S2k yet!!! I wouldn't sell mine if it was the last one on the planet!

See you at the Ace.

Hi everyone.

I just joined the forums fresh from doing the September MBV tour. What a crazy week! The guys found some of the most amazing driving roads in France - tight and twisy mountain stretches that just had to be taken at 100% despite the 1000ft vertical drops (and no barriers to be seen) a few feet away; long fast winding stretches between the towns and villages and that wonderful ascent of Mt Ventoux - just awesome! Add in some spectacular scenery, amazing hotels and food, and it was frankly the most fun you can have with your clothes on!! If you've not done one of Petrolhead Nirvana's tours then I can only advise you to get signing-up ASAP.

To everyone at PN - cheers for a really, really fun week.

Yeah loved the 130i had it stolen though:mad: really enjoying the Z4, like the 130 I changed the runflats straight away and made it 100 times better. Great engines though and handling excellent. Now toying with changing back box to exploit a bit more noise:sifone: looking at remus or miltek so doing a bit of research balance of noise but dont want drone. Hey hey. Been a member for a few months but not posted - I'm Seb, 19, live in Weston-super-Mare but come back to London very regularly.

I'm a good buddy of DonnyMac (fella with the purple Cerb), and I've met Harsh a few times at odd events here and there and when I've been riding shotgun with Don. Not had a chance to bring my car out yet but hopefully it'll be running with you chaps soon.

Car itself is a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi with the Prodrive pack fitted. 300bhp at the age of 19 is very fun but also very enticing to the insurance man - don't ask.

Always up for a beer and/or a run (preferably the latter first!) so if you're ever around Wimbledon on a weekend or Weston and you fancy some socialising then give me a shout.

Thanks for your message buddy!

Well I'm hoping for a Maserati in 3 or so years if things go well! Although an Atom would make my day... anyway! would love to make the Ace meet but as I'm only down in London for weekends it's difficult.

I'll liaise with Don as I'm back for all of next week, with a bit of luck some folks will want to come to Box Hill and wander round Ryka's for an afternoon.

If anybody wants to then please drop me a line/make a topic/reply in this thread.

Evening All, saw some of NWVT's pics on facebook and followed the link so here is another newbie. Currently driving an awful car but hoping it will be tracked in the new year when i purchase a 3 series (looking at 330Ci or there abouts)

I currently am the director for my own telecoms company which i started this year with a friend, a tough market but we're getting there!

Anyway, hoping i can get out and about and meet a few of you guys.

Hi,

Just got back from holiday and thought I should get posting something on here.

I live down on the South Coast and have started to participate in the local Pistonheads events here.

I am a keen visitor to Le Mans and am part of the Team Langoustine gang that have been going together for some time now.

Attended the Dunton charity event and did rides for some of the paying guests in my car- wow you guys have got some nice vehicles:drool5:

Been on a few tunnel runs before including the London-Paris back in 07, which was interesting. I hope to get to a few more meets next year and fingers crossed a couple of thrashes across Europe.

I've owned it for about 18 months, it only comes out in the dry, which we've not had alot of lately !!
I found about this site from a guy i met at the Elvetham Heath Car show in Fleet earlier in the year, its just taken me this long to get around to joining.
I love the sound of the trips you guys go on, i hope to come along some time when the financial situation allows.

Look forward to meeting some of you soon

Hello All!

Popped along to the Ace yesterday night to see all the cars and was really impressed, not just with the cars on show but also everyones willingness to talk about trips, trackdays and the like. I am only 21 and currently driving a clio 1.6, but would like to opt for the Renaultsport next year perhaps; and would definately like get involved with some of the events offered.

Regards,
SES

Actually, why I am here, if I may draw on your expertise for something fun and pokey around the 5k mark? Obviously insurance is a big factor, as is the cost of running the car (hence I think a 2litre limit). I am in the process of applying to Sandhurst, so it can't look too 'boy racery' either ;), something that will give me a bit of fun for the next two years!

Harsh
15-12-09, 23:51 PM
Fi, yes that looks about right.

SES, welcome to PN, as i may have mentioned yestrday there are interesting cars in every price range.

for 5k you're looking at an MX5 which ticks a lot of boxes.
It may have a less than macho image but it is a great car to drive.
great balance and a fun rear wheel drive chassis.
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1402878.htm

if image is an issue then how about an E36 M3?
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1399269.htm

i think Honda s2000's are just aout of range and probably not the best 1st car but something to move on to later when you're used to Rear drive.

if you want front wheel drive how about a mini cooper?

Ah, bugger, 3rd photo was supposed to be my Sera but I can't find a photo anywhere. Will take a look when I get home or go out and take one in the morning!

The Toyota Sera is probably the one that would appeal most. It's a 2+2 swan wing door coupe(like Enzo doors), similar size to an MX5 but no one else in the car park will have one(unless I bring mine out) It's front wheel drive and fairly pokey for a 1.5. The highest aspirated K series engine available - if that means anything. Manuals can take a bit of hunting down but they're out there (mine is). There is also a 10 speaker surround sound option available known as slss "sera live sound system" - I haven't got that.

I don't give it enough credit really. None of these guys have seen it as I always take my Sebring to meets. The Toyota gets used and abused as my work horse but it's a Toyota so keeps going and rarely complains (except when I mix up the screenwash and antifreeze!)
They go for anything from £900 to £5k depending on condition and because they are rare tend to hold their value .....I really don't like depreciation, made a profit on most of my cars :-)

Here's what wikipaedia has to say and some pics:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Sera

Oh yeah it was:

Mini - £270
baja - £1200 plus £1000 shipping from California
Sera - £2000

= £4470 :)

Not that I'm suggesting you buy 3 cars

Fiona
16-12-09, 04:14 AM
Just read SES post properly...

I stick with the Sera suggestion, people don't tend to pay too much attention till you open the doors then they do a double take.

i insure with Lifesure at around £250 a year but I'm a bit old :( they are by far the cheapest on the Sera though, unless you can get Firebond or someone to take it on a future classic scheme. they do that for some cars over 10 years. the Sera owners club are really helpful too, based in Norfolk and can supply most of the parts.

Another option would be something you can get on limited mileage classic car insurance.
searching your price bracket here should turn up loads of ideas:

http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/

Mind you, that Mini cooper looks like a good buy too

Boris
16-12-09, 11:17 AM
Sera's are wicked, one of my old teachers at college had one and it was an awesome car! Love the bubble and the doors! Im 19 (20 in march) with 1 years no claims and admiral will ensure me on a 1.8is mx5 for £1000 so my vote is that or the sera!

ChrisC
16-12-09, 12:29 PM
I went for a classic version of an mx-5 (its a triumph spitfire 1500 roadster) as my first car as classic insurance is much cheaper than normal insurance.

That cost me 3.5k to buy and about 2k to get up to a decent quality mechanically so near your price range. Great thing is its worth the same (ish) about 15 years later.

It might be worth it considering a classic if you want to learn mechanicing nad dont mind being a grease monkey, I cant work on newer cars too complex and too many electrics!

ses60039
16-12-09, 13:07 PM
Thanks alot for the repsonses thus far! Very informative! Everyone seems to be leaning towards the Sera and MX5, as opposed to a more modern car, such as the Clio, is there any paricular reason for this?

I won't be buying until next year anyway, after my parents have moved house (around Jan/Feb time), leaving plenty of time for a few test drives.

verysideways
16-12-09, 13:53 PM
As mileages rack up, a Clio will cost you more to maintain than an MX5 - and of course the Mazda is rwd.

A £3k Clio 172 is probably quicker across country than a £3k MX5 1.8, but the '5' will put a bigger grin on your face :)

Boris
16-12-09, 13:58 PM
It all depends on if you want rear or front wheel drive? My current car till the weekend is a 1.6 W Reg Hyundai Coupe, looks nice, goes ok and is cheap to insure as its FWD. Clio 172's are great little cars and awesome fun, but as a result they are comparitively high insurance for a FWD car. Having had 3 FWD cars (Toyata Yaris 1.01, Saab 95 2.0Ltr Turbo, Hyundai Coupe 1.6) for 3 years I am now really after a RWD car (especially after doing a caterham drift experience and getting hooked on sideways fun!). If you think you still have something to learn or enjoy from a FWD car then go down the newer route, as you will find insurance shoudl be cheaper. As for modern RWD cars there arent many left in your price bracket really, you might find a E46 3 series for that price but again insurance will be a killler, so In my experience old and RWD is really the only option for us young drivers! I vote MX5, test drove my first on a week ago and buying one on saturday, so I can vouch for their fun and appeal!!!!

Fiona
16-12-09, 15:06 PM
Like Chris my first car was a classic version of the MX5, an 1969 Austin Healey Sprite. Great fun. Then I bought a 1971 Mini to go with it. I learnt a fair bit about mechanics, they were very very cheap to fix. Tax free and the insurance was cheap £105 a year fully comp when I was 23 on the Sprite and £75 on the Mini!!!

Bought the Sprite for £2k and it was stolen the next day  I think I was in too much shock to cry, my first car stolen the day after I bought it! Reported it to the police and as they seemed reluctant to do anything I put some posters up in the area which was how I found it. The insurance then paid for it to be virtually restored, turning my luck around completely!:D Engine rebuild, new panels, respray (the joy riders had bashed it about a bit). I sold it for £4800 to a friend who still owns it now.

The '71 Mini I got for £400, resprayed myself, won a competition in Mini Magazine for chrome grille and bumpers etc and sold it on for £1500

The '74 Mini convertible pictured in my earlier post was only £270 on ebay. I bought it with the intention of using it on a rally but changed my mind and went for the better ground clearance of the Baja. I sold it to someone who wanted to do a charity rally for £275 (couldn't ruin my record of selling cars at a profit) Had I resprayed it and fitted a soft top I could have got maybe 3 to 5k for it.

But I digress....I went out in the snow and took some pics of my Sera. the streaking on the pics is the snow.

http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff144/flossie007/PICT0521-1.jpg

http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff144/flossie007/PICT0520.jpg

Like I said, mine is a bit shabby, it's got a couple of little dings where people have reversed into it! Has lost a wheel trim and the paint is falling off the bonnet where it's been badly oversprayed at some point in it's life. So you can see why a favour the Sebring for Ace meets. That said, if you're considering one I'll bring it along and you can have a go. I'll park it in a dark corner and you can imagine it as it will be when I get the time and money to sort it.....Black with alloy wheels and maybe a bit more of a tint on the windows.

It's a '91 car and I've owned it 7 years now. I serviced it for the first time this year! It gets a lot of abuse hacking up and down the M3 and used for work everyday while the Sebring in the background gets molly coddled. The only money it's cost me was when the exhaust fell off. I had a stainless exhaust fitted, powerflow system for £280, so I won't have the rust issue again. sounds better too :) So don't be put off by the age, Toyota's go on forever!
Oh and I spent £20 last week for a new coil (didn't do that in my dodgy 7 year home service).

ses60039
16-12-09, 15:27 PM
Wow! thankyou I really appreciate that Fiona! Thanks for the offer of letting me see the car also. I am definately considering the mx5 too (think its edging the race at the moment), especially after some further investigation into insurance, driveability etc

Been looking around various forums etc for MX5's. Plenty of decent examples around within my budget. I just wondered whether anyone has any ideas as to what I should be going for; 1.6 or 1.8, mileage etc.

Thanks and kind regards.

verysideways
17-12-09, 16:46 PM
Are you buying Mk1 or Mk2?

Mk1 i'd go for the 1.6, it's a more rev happy engine and you won't miss the torque because you'll be too busy revving the nuts off it :D

Mk2 with the 1.6 is a bit weedy, go for the 1.8 with as much kit as you can get.

Don't worry too much about mileage as long as it's good full service history - and you should be able to tell from the general condition of the car if it's been loved or simply used as transport.

The gearbox is a gem. If it's not silky smooth there's something not quite right. Ditto the engine, it can sound a little coarse as the revs rise but as four pots go it's a good 'un, and at idle it should be quiet and smooth.

Personally i pay a lot of attention to tyres. Someone who buys cheap tyres may well scrimp on servicing too...

Oh, and whilst the rear window isn't too expensive to replace the rest of the hood is. Feel the carpet with your hands, especially behind the seats, to see if the roof has leaked.

Thankyou for the advice. I think for my sort of money I am looking at the Mk2, and have seen some very nice examples around. Can anyone recommend some good dealers of the MX5, the one that keeps cropping up in search's is Dandycars, has anyone any experience of these guys?

I remember helping a mate find a clean MX5 a little while ago - Dandycars certainly had a good selection and their cars were VERY nice, but they were asking absolute top money for them too...

I guess if you want the best and are prepared to pay for it then that'd be a good place to start.

Had a MK1 off of Dandycars some years ago, it was for the wife, when they were at their old premises - i'd give 'em 7 out of 10 to be fair :)

They were very friendly and well informed about their cars but they lost marks in my book as prior to collection the car needed new tyres and some minor paintwork. When we turned up to collect the car they had fitted a lovely set of Runway Tyres :banghead: and it was patently obvious that the paintshop they were using next door didn't have the highest standards :( Not being in the mood for a fight we decided to like it and lump it :(

As it turned out with a bit of diy correction work the paint was fine and the tyres made the car quite.........'er...... interesting lol. Though come the winter, interesting became dangerous for Mrs J. so off they came :o

As said, they've moved now so maybe using a better paintshop :) Got to be worth a look i reckon :)

Thanks ever so much for the advice, I'll do my research over the next few months and perhaps plump for something for my Birthday in Feb. I'll resist my normal urge to rush in and buy the first thing I see and save up and get something I will really enjoy.

Well give me a shout if you'd like me to bring the Sera to the Ace, otherwise I'll probably be in the Sebring. Unless one of my mates wants to drive the Sera up then I'll bring both :)

Evening people!

Thought I'd totter over to your corner of the internet.

Hi!

I'm abit young at 22 (which means I know nothing, have driven nothing, never done X or Y and need to come back when I've done some of the afore mentioned(or maybe thats just the PH effect)) but I've got a fun car, and like driving (and getting my hands dirty...) so I figure being young cant be such a bad thing.

I drive a Cappuccino (which some of you may have seen at the Ace this monday just gone), based in Bucks and spend alot of time in North London.
Abit of a huge geek (Studying Computer networks).

I think that about covers it...

Welcome Mark.

Only the PN web guru's have avatar setting priviliges. You have to go on tour or do something stupid like driving to Australia to earn one :)

Hi everyone.
I love supercars. I love evrything about them! From the way they look, to the way they sound and their raw power! I'm learning to drive in a battered, bruised, and scarred Suzuki Jeep 4X4 and I live in a family of people obsessed with old American cars and trucks, My love of supercars is alien to them, as is my love of watching the repeats of Top Gear whenever I get the chance.
They are trying to convert me! Help!
