View Full Version : Le Mans Classic... guaging interest
It doesn't happen every year but it's well worth seeing.
We'll be working with the same guys to bring Nirvana to Le Mans whenever we can.
If anyone has been, would like to go or just wants to talk about it, then this thread is the place to do it!
I think I'll probably be going just in case anyone wants to join me ;)

No way I can commit this early but yes , definitely interested , I would however like to point out two things , no way I can hoon it down at quite the same speed as current cars , think about 60-65mph and also I would prefer the Portsmouth - Cherbourg route , its a lot less frantic , if I can get some other old skool Fordies interested I will but they are just not as "broad spectrum" as myself , generally.
Oooo, yeah :)
I should be able to build up a bit more annual leave by then!
Really. really want to do Le mans but I think the classic stuff is more my thing :coolgleamA:

Again, it's way to early to predict whether I will even have a job at that time but yes, I'd be interested in this. I've heard only good things about the classic :)

As I already put in the other thread, I'm in for this one, possibly moreso than actual Le Mans.

Never been on a Petrolhead trip before but we have a TVR Griffith - would it make it, do you think?!

Absolutely! Chims and Griffs are reliable if you use them (i've had three Chims and a Tuscan).
Make sure you use it lots for a few weeks before the trip and it'll be good as gold :)
