The Rat-Look vans and buses that still have their original signwriting and stuff are definately my favourites, just have something that even the best artist can't quite re-create. I really, really want a signwritten Split Twin-Cab... maybe one day.

Anything with an engine really. One of them is a 1969 Baja which I'm driving overland to Australia.

Rach is bringing a Baja too and there's a couple bringing a VW camper and another couple in a landy camper.

Pic was taken at Volksworld, Esher. Would have taken it to Big Bang but the engine is out for a rebuild at the moment and it's getting rollcage, roofrack, jerry can bins, side bars fitted.

Fiona, that Baja is lovely, bet it looks great once you've got it all kitted out. I would love to do something like a treck across Australia in something Aircooled, sounds like the perfect way to see a country. Good luck with it, I hope it turns out to be as good as it sounds.

I attended BugJam and VW Action years ago which were both fantastic shows in their own right. I love the whole Air-Cooled scene but but made my choice years ago and fell into the Water-Cooled side of things. I am still heavily involved with that being an Edition38.com Crew member and moderator on their forum but have a huge appreciation for this even older stuff. Beautiful in it's own unique way.
