View Full Version : Eurotunnel Road Access - Strike Updates
For those of you travelling from afar?
Operation stack is still in place.
Part of M20 J8-9 used to hold truck traffic bound for the ports so is closed.
this is normal operation when the French Fishermen blockade the French ports.

Heard on the news this morning that operation stack is still in force despite the cheese-eating surrender monkeys growing bored of their blockade. Still no confirmation of the threatened "solidarity" move to blockade the eurotube...

Just on the train to work guys and have read in the Metro that the French worker's union are planning to blockade the Eurotunnel today. We'll have to keep an eye on this...
One more sleep!
Welcome back Ben...

Guys I've been flat out at work today so haven't been able to keep an eye on this. Have you had any updates on the current situation and whether it will be ok to use the M20 tomorrow morning?
I suppose no news (updates) is good news...
James.

Operation Stack has been lifted which means the M20 coastbound between junctions 8 (Leeds Castle) and 9 (Ashford West) is open.
This follows an earlier blockade by French fishermen at Calais, Boulogne and Dunkirk which began on Tuesday 14 April and led to the implementation of Operation Stack.
