20 years ago today was one of the saddest days of my football supporting life.

the hillsborough disaster when 96 fans were killed due to a tragic error by the controlling police chief.

3.15 is when the clock stopped on most of the young lives.

i was meant to be there that day but although i had a ticket i couldn't afford to go.
fortunately the person who i gave my ticket to came back safely.

96 others didnt.

spare a thought today for those that went to support their team but ended up in a hellish crush :(

That was the day football changed forever , incompetence of the highest order that has never been answered for.

As David Moyes so rightly said it could have happened to any football club not just Liverpool , its good to hear there is sympathy not animosity from our rivals , most true fans won't repeat the stupid taunts some utter , we are better than that.

To the families of the 96 You Will truly Never Walk Alone.
