We've been in conversation with DogcamSport/Fastfilms who are the uk's leading supplier of filming equipment for motorsport and obviously touring for our purposes.

they are happy to give us a 5% discount on all equipment (most of which is available for next day delivery)

you need a discount code which has already been set up (PM me for it)

in addition to that, they are on the phone and happy to help with any queries you may have. 01726 891 812

basically there are three options in terms of film quality

vga (good for viewing on a pc) complete sets cost around £199
DVD quality cmplete sets start from around £599
HD...silly cost but really good quality sets cost upwards of £2000

i'm probably going for a dvd quality system to supplement what we already have.

to order or just to find out more give the guys at FF/DCS a call (ask for ED) and mention you're from Petrolhead Nirvana

right, i've just ordered this...........

http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/hqr2-head-camera-package.htm

along with a suction mount, a remote, 16gb card, velcro pads, 12v cigarette lighter charger and a card reader.

it's easy to use(i'm told) has a decent mic, the 16gb will allow 4 hours continuous filming
i'm bringing my laptop so i'll be downloading every night.

have a vchat with Ed if you want one.
it's next day delivery so we should still get them in time even if you order it tomorrow morning.

Looks like a pretty cool kit there Bachi...I'll be interested to see how it comes out.

So what will you be strapping it to, have you decided what you're taking yet?

James. :)
