damn i always miss the obvious!

there's a bike in the way so i couldn't see it properly.

Actually Dan, the bike looks stunning, the carbon pipes really set it off.
is there a running in period or can you play properly straight away?

600 miles at up to 7000 rpm, then a quick oil change.

Up to 10000 rpm until 1000 miles then madness is advised :)

It'll be on the track in just over a month so I need to start getting some miles done.

I'll try and follow you in the Atom while you're running it in then........;)

:D

The Atom would destroy me during run in time.

I feel it would be a lot closer though once the bike is allowed into looney mode.

Right, no messing about.

586 miles done - I reckon that's close enough, will be booking it in for the service then the fun can really start :D

will we see it next monday?

Dan H

Well, it's being shipped off to Spain in a couple of weeks so had to get it done!

That's the plan - as long as the weather is ok. . . . :)

so is she running at 100% now Dan?

you bringing her on Monday?

Dan H

Kind of.
I'll be going up to 10K rpm (ish) until the 1k mile mark then increasing slowly up to the redline (14k) by an extra 1k rpm for every 100 miles.

Well, that's the plan anyway :D

This thing is mental though, the old one ('04) used to wheelie if you snapped open the throttle at 70 mph in 2nd. This one just seem to do it in any gear at any speed :D

Should bring it on Monday if the weather is ok.

Failing that, I'll be there in the car :)

Some "track fit" photos - notice lack of mirrors and number plate gubbins
