OMG. Seriously. Shoot me in the face, now.
9am conf call with Goldmans, followed by meetings.
Feels like some small rodent slept in my mouth and is now running around my head with a jackhammer.

Oh, and as you can see, I have conscientiously decided to stop cluttering up the proper threads ;)

Carol
27-03-09, 12:51 PM
Shocking  - my name as title of a thread!!

:banghead:
seems that I missed a lot. Will chase sleeeeeepy Harsh -> he has my contact details - maybe has deleted it!!!

When you have recovered - any chance to to make amends?

Cactussed
27-03-09, 13:17 PM
The way I feel right now, I don't think I will ever recover. I am a broken man.

Carol
27-03-09, 13:38 PM
must be the age...

Cactussed
27-03-09, 13:46 PM
Too right! I remember when I were a little tyke, I could go out every night of the week and feel fine! Now I do one night and I'm dead for days!

Harsh
27-03-09, 15:03 PM
shhhhhhhhhhhhhh stop shouting!

Cactussed
27-03-09, 15:25 PM
Just back from the pub. Had a couple of sharpeners over lunch to take the edge off.
Am undecided as to thwther I feel better or worse?

Bali, are we going to Soho tonight (no homo jokes please).

Hmmm

Another week of mayhem kicks off! :D

You can say that again - I really should rather prepare a conference call instead of reading PN and Cactussed's comments...
Hope you had a good weekend!

Only 18 days to go.. :)

Harsh
30-03-09, 10:40 AM
ah yes but being here is so much fun.....apart from Cactussed's comments of course, but these are the crosses we have to bear ;)

Cactussed

Good grief! Only 18 days???
Weekend was good. Was out again Friday night. Felt utterly ruined Saturday morning!
Sunday was brilliant, out with a bunch of other Fezza and Lambo owners, had a private tour of a Norman castle. All very grown up :)

BBQ and a glass of wine last night in the fading sunlight. Just cracking!

Great, go ahead ahead, ruin my day. Thought you had a nice drive while my Tuscan is still being taken care of (silly car) and I went off in a bloody Fiesta, I hope to get him back next Saturday. Norman castle? Sounds great!

Bachi, I hope you have you been seriously supporting Nancy on her preparation for the Marathon?!

And you only see the ones I write. I have to live with all SORTS of inappropriate stuff that pops into my head. Luckily, I have the brain/mouth filter engaged at work.

Gimme a few stiff ones on tour though... :D (Make of that what you will)

Harsh
30-03-09, 13:06 PM
errm, fair point indeed....
sounds like Carol has some competition then unless there's something we dont know.

wish i'd never got in the middle of this, getting myself in all sorts of trouble now

Cactussed
30-03-09, 13:13 PM
Not sure I'd be so keen having you in the middle either....

Carol

Note to self: it will be a mere child's play when he's drunk

And: competition??? what competition? you must be joking! :coolgleamA:

Cactussed
30-03-09, 14:05 PM
Bear in mind, there's a very short distance between drunk and cactussed...

Carol
30-03-09, 14:20 PM
so I am supposed to be afraid now?
I am indeed..

Cactussed
30-03-09, 14:36 PM
Afraid of what? Bachi and I are both harmless. you just need to watch out when we're legless! :D

Harsh
30-03-09, 15:19 PM
that tends to happen when you're around mainly Drew.....

what am i doing talking to you anyway, i've got an event to organise!

Cactussed
30-03-09, 15:30 PM
Yeah, back to work. Chop chop!
And that's not quite true. I am a model of restraint... just not a functioning model :D

Cactussed

BTW

Bachi said you emailed asking what I was like.

I've put my picture here (http://irestidelcarlino.files.wordpress.com/2006/12/david-hasselhoff-07.jpg).

:D

Carol

Interesting how fast information is circulated in here...

Anyway, regarding the picture: may I cancel my tour to France please? Immediately???
PLEASE!!!

Cactussed
31-03-09, 12:01 PM
No secrets in here...
And what exactly are you saying???

Carol
31-03-09, 12:36 PM
Bachi could have forwarded the entire mail..
but apparently he doesn't want to lose count of our conversation. Fair enough.

So, go ahead then, don't disappoint him!

Ugs, think forward 17 days. Two blue cars, the darker one with a David lookalike and the babyblue one with hmmm (just thinking)... don't dare to say... :blush5:

Bachi is a bastion of high moral standards and would never do anything... Oh. Hang on. Scrap that.

Anyhow, perhaps I should ditch the princess Leia outfit and get some bright red budgie-smugglers instead?

And as for you, Bigburd, I'll have you know I was dressed in all the latest fashion... :D There is nothing wrong with wearing cardigans. Even the barmaid said you were all just jealous.

That said, she did decline to pass on her phone number.. <scratches chin>

Just practising for the main event. Need to keep my eye in, as it were. Would hate to come across as a rank amateur...

Harsh
31-03-09, 14:44 PM
i didn't pass any information on at all other than the fact a question was asked.

much more fun to find out on tour imo

now, the dress code thing, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

i think we need to work on that a bit.

also what do you think you're doing calling me a bastion?

Cactussed
31-03-09, 14:59 PM
I've called you worse.... :D

Do you reckon the host country will get upset if we were to all where blue and white hooped sweaters a beret and onions round our necks

Its not your onions, its the size of your baguette that's important ;)

And how smelly your cheese is. Actually, I may have to rephrase that last part....

Carol
31-03-09, 16:18 PM
Eeerrrm... i may be safer not to enter a discussion about size...
:nopity:

Harsh
31-03-09, 16:22 PM
you know your onions Drew!

it's not about size, it's more to do with how crusty it is........
assuming we're still talking baguettes?

I believe the test of a good baguette is to give it a little squeeze?

Ouch...

Psst, Carol - stop it, back off... no comments!

So.

I spent the morning with various women, pants round my ankles and covered in lube.

How about you?

Harsh
01-04-09, 15:32 PM
there simply is no answer to that...............

Cactussed

The worst part was, I knew it was coming up, so I could have worn anything.

What did I opt for in a moment of no-brainedness?

Grey Y-Fronts. Disaster. At least they were clean when I started....

Don't worry Drew.
a. these ladies get paid for undressing you, they don't care about undies.
I am sure they have seen much worse.

b. I have been told (of course I don't know because I am a good girl)
that outher packing is far less important than content... :) which the ladies might
confirm...

LOL! Glad to have you back on board!
Agree that contents are the main priority, but some nice wrapping paper is always pretty to look at. Before you rip it off with your teeth.

(Oddly enough, Christmas at our house always looked like feeding time at the zoo ;) and the ribbons always got stuck in your teeth...)

Carol
02-04-09, 13:32 PM
As I always said - Christmas should be more often.
There's nothing like unpacking nicely wrapped presents... :D
