View Full Version : Dunsfold charity day
We've been working on this behind the scenes, and it's just been launched on PH...
We're hoping for a large turnout to help the charity, 2-3000 people.

Live band (The Lettuceheads of course!)
Lots of stalls, some really interesting cars on display, e.g. Koenigsegg, Carrera GT, F40, F50 and Enzo 1964 Alivs drophead.
So who's up for it?
Put your name down, but make sure you book in advance here
www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/dadsdayout (http://www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/dadsdayout)
To avoid the queues on the day and to make sure you get in...if it's over subscribed then entry will be by ticket only.
Also there are only a limited number of ride slots so try and book those in advance too.

When i saw the live band... I knew it would be Stu and the gang.
Best of luck for this Bachi, and if you need someone to drive the Atom for the day you know where I am :D
Im booked, and would be keen to se if there is any sort of convoy down / back as would top the day off nicely, even if a short one down the A3 ;)

i'm sure there will be mate,
if you fancy lending a hand with organising of that as i will probably be flat out with the event arrangements on the day (if you're not too busy?)

Certainly can. What do you have in mind? I wqas thinking of a basic hook up with you guys en route to Dunsfold. Maybe somewhere like the Texaco on West Hill Road if your using the A3?
i'm likely to be there quite early as i have to help with the set up
but i'm sure one of the guys will be around, perhaps a meet down at Ockham Common?
Ockham Common sounds good.
Will keep tabs.
cool.
i've just set up the facebook event.
feel free to send the invite on to anyone :)
We're booked and we would love to meet up with everyone for a drive down there or back.
looking forward to it .

Good luck with the event Bachi
Keep 'em all safe ... drivers and passengers alike.
Anyone breaking the event rules/fooling around/showing off ... into the 10 minute 'sin-bin'!

Finaly got round to buying the tickets. See you all there!
The Bad news is I have to work that day :(
The good news is I don't have to go in till 19:00 :) So I have all day to come and play!! :) :) :)
Booked my ticket. Let me know if I can help in any way. Anyone filming the day? Can borrow a camera from work if you like.
Fiona, that would be fantastic if you could!
we've not got any specific filming going on so a record of the day would be great!
Booked a camera out for the day
1200 advance tickets sold,
375 out of 450 rides presold (advance bookings for rides now closed)
and today it gets featured in the Sunday Times 'ingear' section.
going to be a busy week ahead!

Looking forward to it and will aim to get there early for the PN static bit, missed out on booking a ride but I'm sure there will be a chance on the day.
Plus I'll do what I can to help out.
cheers,
Stewart
