View Full Version : Track day?

i'm in discussion with a group of enthusiastic drivers.
they have close relations to a decent well organised track day company.

there's a date coming up soon at a circuit that i love driving.

i cant divulge much at the moment as i promised i would keep it under wraps until it's officially released. but the date is some time in the next 6 weeks.

the majority of those on the day will be known to some of us and are a very friendly helpful group of guys (which is why i wanted to organise a joint day with them)

there's also the very good chance that there'll be an early booking discount which i'll put up as soon as i can confirm it.
we'll need to build up a list and then book as soon as possible as days at this circuit tend to fill up really fast.

the noise restrictions are
103dB Drive-By. Measured from track-side.

103dB Static. 0.5m and 45° from exhaust at ¾ maximum RPM

so the real question is, who fanices a fun trackday?

1. Harsh - Atom
2. TigerTwo - track ready M3
3.

Hmmm,

I'm not going to get in those noise restrictions with anything other than the Astra.

Shame :(

most TVR's should be fine with 103...
the Ferrari and the BMW manage it.....

I'm guessing the 355 won't pass. Might bring the M3 though. Depends on time / location / price...

Could be tempted - is there a possibility of Caterham hire on this day?

Either that or the S get's its first trackday for a while. . . .

:)

also...and this is quite important.

if you are interested, them please PM me...
a list on here is fine however as the booking starts tomorrow afternoon i don't want to steal a march on our friends who have been very gracious in allowing us to join them.

so as this is a public open forum and anyone ,even those not registered can see all the threads i'm not going to put any booking details on this thread.

the earlier you book, the better the deal so PM me before midday tomorrow and i will tell you more.
There's plenty of space on the day itself as it's not being released until tomorrow so we will be able to get on..
i just want to be fair to those that have given us this opportunity to book on first.

Looks like I'll be away that weekend, so unfortunately I'll have to miss this.

I WILL be doing one at some point this year though. . . .

it's worth getting a couple of tuition sessions as well if you've not done this track before.
Nancy and I are now booked as are a number of friends from the S2ki forum.

the earlier you book the cheaper it will be.
