Right, the time is very nearly upon us.

the Alpine adventure will be from July 18th to July 26th.

We're shrouding the route in secrecy for the moment....because its more fun that way ;)

but rest assured the old favourites will be in there plus a few new gems that will take your breath away.

prices are dependant on our negotiations with our chosen hotels.
We're doing our best to chip away at their margins to try and make up for the strong Euro.



Places are likely to be limited to 25 cars (possibly 20) to ensure the group gels together.


the reason for this post is to guage interest...and to keep you on your toes!
I'll be at the Autosports show tomorrow and Sunday if anyone wants to meet up.

I've got MBV in April & a bike thing in Spain in May, Ireland in June & something in July :D

Indeed we have mate,

the dates are as suggested.

Saturday July 18th throuogh to Sunday July26th

cost is £1250 per person based on two people sharing 1 car and a twin/double room.

The route is still a slight secret
it includes the Alsace region, the black forest (including Ducati testing roads)
a stay in Annecy (venice of France)
The route Napoleon
Nice
obviously the best roads the Alps has to offer
including, but not limited to the San Bernadino pass,
Stelvio Pass,
Grand and Petit Saint bernards
Fluella pass
Grimsel pass
i could go on but i'll keep it to that for now

We'll also be going to Supercar Valley and getting a behind the scenes tour of the Lamborghini factory
sampling the wonders of Tuscany and visiting the Mille Miglia museum

couple that with a hoon along the Reims straight
some great hotels,
full sat nav files and printed route notes
a tour manager
walkie talkies
and of course great company

Apart from that we're not doing much........or maybe we are!

Have just emailed my holiday request :) - OK So I am a contractor, and will be out of contract at that point in time but a bit of courtesy often goes a long way when renewals are due. Anyhow nobody else is off at that time, so put me down not sure on the car/sharing etc at present - may add to collection/beg borrow steal or happy to ride shotgun and split the fuel costs

With the thoughts of Italy now firmly in my mind I found myself browsing the PH Classifieds...for something a bit different for the Alpine Tour. Started back on the TVR Tamora thoughts then started thinking about Italians (cars and women :P ) the car being a Maserati Spyder :D the women well only Hat will be the judge of that! So I sent Bachi a text to blame him and Drew, in turn he has delegated the blame entirely on Drew!

So pending contract renewal at end of May - I maybe going shopping!

In terms of numbers, we're filling up very quickly indeed.

all the single rooms have now gone

we have confirmed bookings with deposits for 14 rooms and provisional bookings for another 3 which only leaves 3 rooms (either twin or double...so sharing with 1 or 2 cars is an option)

you can still book via the website but we strongly suggest that you email/call us as well to confirm what room configuration you're after.

We have 15 rooms out of 20 booked and confirmed with a number of provisional bookings which if confirmed will fill the tour.

So i am going to call the tour full for the time being and give the provisionals a week or so to fully confirm.
