Team Langoustine can also offer you grandstand and race tickets.
If you would like to include a certain grandstand with your campsite order, then let us know you belong to PN when you book and we will group you together in your chosen stand.

If you would like advise on which stand is best for you, then please post here or give me a call.

Some PN members have already expressed an interest in Tertre Rouge. This is opposite our site.
To be honest, the view at Tertre Rouge is very good from the free track side standing areas. This is very nice with a few beers a cold box and a couple of seats.

However the most popular are the pit straight stands. These are opposite the pits, so you get a great view of track and pit action. My favorite is Sommer (T16). This is at the exit of the pits, opposite a big telly screen. So you get track view from the Ford chicane through to Dunlop and pit action, with full circuit coverage on the big screen.

The stands are also a great base if you are in a group. All the stands we supply are covered, so dry in the rain and shade if it's cooking. It is always one or the other.

T18,T19,T20,T21 are all very similar and all look into the pits, T23 (Maison Blanche) is at the start of the main straight at the Ford chicane. This is a good action stand as all cars must slow for the chicane and pit entrance after barrelling around the Porsche curves. You get a good view of them accellerating up the main straight.

cool, thanks for the overview, i defintely agree its more fun when you're part of a group, so i'm happy to book with the majority.

how many have contacted you directly, are there any that are not on the list?

Only one direct contact for Grandstands and that fella is on the list.
I think we are safe to discuss all options until the end of the first week in Jan. Then we must put a stake in the ground as January is a mad month for orders. I think it's the January blues and people tend to book holidays and events to cheer themselves up.

thats what i figured.

i've told people the end of dec, so that should give us a little leeway for the first week of Jan

It should be emphasised that if you use the pit lane grandstands you get to see the greatest race start ceremony on the planet , also you can get great shots of the cars coming into the pit boxes and actually overhang the cars overhead , you MUST be careful not to drop your camera of course as I can,t see the marshalls making the effort to give you your camera back , and finally not forgetting the attendance on the grid of the delicious Haiwaiin Tropic girls :drool5:

Your shots are generally from the stand overhanging the pits. Each to their own, but I do not think this is a particularly good stand as the only way to get a good view is to hang over the railings. I much prefer and would recommend T21-T16 opposite. Excellent views of pit and track and no need to get off your seat. IMHO

Agreed you won't see into the garages from this viewing point , but you will be up close for the drive in servicing in the pit boxes which is very interesting especially in the night shift and you get to see the driver changes etc so pros and cons for both grandstands agreed. Both however benefit equally from the grandstand resonation effect when the gorgeous sounding Lambo engine comes by at full chat , that will stay with me forever :auto::hurray:
Corvettes and Astons and GT3s are of course impressive but just not quite as awesome :drool5:

Gents and Ladies
We need to start firming these places up as we are now selling the grandstand places and the longer we leave it, there is always a chance that we might now have enough of your chosen stand to put you all together.
Here is the list. Sommer T16 seems to be the favorite, so please add your name as soon as possible.

My concerns are becoming true.
Sommer (T16) is very nearly sold out. We only have 2 left. If PN group would like to stick together in the stands, then we have main stands opposite the pits available and all the PN group could get together in one of those. Leonard (T20) is half way along the main straight and excellent viewing. If however you would prefer loos, showers, food and bars accessable within your stand, the the ACO (T18) is still available.

I still want a grandstand ticket for T16. How do I pay you again?
