Gratuitous photo, as you mention them in your blurb

got any more?:iagree: I always call them enbryo Vipers or proper little sports cars
I've not really got any decent photos of the Capp or my other cars but I'll have a look if there's any other interest
Did you see Bill Crichton's (cryton/Kryten) photos of the NEC SBDR on our web site, none of you or I (or our cars) but then you do appear in the video :auto:
PS can your techie get spell check on here to almost speed me up
What size engine is the cappucino? Front wheel drive I take it...

Sorry Dizee I thought I'd ticked to get emails of replies but I couldn't have
Thanks Ben-San yes they are
rear wheel drive
657 cc
turbo intercooled
three cylinder
12 vavle DOHC
see here for more info: http://www.suzuki-cappuccino.com/a_information/a_cappuccino/tech_spec.php
with air-con
when you hit the limiter at 85 mph you dropped to two cylinders  or at least that was what I was told
When mine hit the limiter the speedo showed 90 mph which was "all the way round on the clock" - not many standard production cars where you could go to the "end of the clock" - unlimted I'm told they went over a 100mph, which I can easily believe because . . .
My wife's standard Diahatsu Copen (659 turbo, 4 cylinder) my mate clocked in his new shape Jag XK 4.2 at it's full claimed top speed of 106 mph (all UK Copens were unlimited as standard unlike the Capps)
I hasten to add we only did this once to see if this was possible and it was not in this country
Have this photo of me driving "HER Copen" very slowly and carefully around the Ring

Lisa said she had 106 out of the Copen and I never really believed her! I love driving the Copen, so much fun!

Hi James, it is you (but then you already know that)
Tell Lisa not to kill it - what am I saying! it's a Japanese engine just regular oil & filter changes and let the turbo cool down before stopping the engine please, just to stop me from worring about the Vivid
I only done 106mph once as I don't like to push cars too hard but because of their final gearing (80 mph in 5th = 5000 rpm) they do pick up well over 70 mph (where allowed)
Sheila's car was a very early UK car into the country and wasn't really happy much above 6,500 rpm despite the 8,000 red-line and anyway as I said before the turbo kicks in around 2,200 rpm so we didn't need to go above 6,000 rpm
When I had the Fiat Cinq (Sporting no less 1107 cc) with K&N element filter and sports exhaust I was driving it hard following my mate going above its claimed standard car top speed for a good few miles when I noticed for the first time ever the temp guage going well above its normal reading but below hot still I took no chances I backed off _ i just don't have the nerve to push it too much
1107 cc so what happens at that time - a road tax break for cars below 1100 cc - doh!
She got a telling off for doing that speed and I dont tend to take it over 6k revs purely because it is the only car I have ever bought outright with my own hard earned cash, and I want to keep it in great nick... Thats probably why its me who spends hours cleaning the damn thing.

... Thats probably why its me who spends hours cleaning the damn thing.I know where you're coming from - this time of year rushing to get it finished before anything freezes on to the car . . .
the little cappy that came with is on the 2007 alpine tour managed to cruise at 100 on the motorways,
he then came into his own on the twisties leaving far more powerful cars for dead!

I kept mine standard except for changing the gear lever and steering wheel and perhap a K&N air filter element (may be)
I'd have had to criuse at 84 mph to avoid the limiter on that tour :)
Even standard they were great entertainment on the twistes even with two fat blokes in as I found out when I test drove one with my mate when they first came out
I wont mention which marque of red car held me up on a tour ;) until after the coffee stop when I got out before it and I never saw it again until the end

Here's another photo with William in
http://i36.tinypic.com/104rmuc.jpg
William (son of tour organiser, now probably 6' 4") was probably a year yonger here than the Capp photo . . . either that or those V8Ss where very big
bleached out photo (used to have sunny spring days back then) doesn't do the lines of the V8S justice
