I fueled up yesterday and tallied more litres than pounds. How long will it last? About a day me thinks. I still remember the uproar when prices creeped over 60p.
That was quickly negated by London last night, averaging around 0.3 miles per hour. :boxing_smiley:
All I have to say, is France, here we come.
well oil prices are now around $50 per barrel, which is only a thrid of their high earlier this year. (july in fact....only 4 1/2 months ago)
the question is, why aren't fuel prices even lower?
surely not profiteering by the oil companies?
as for the traffic, ......thats why we go out to play elsewhere ;)
As you say, France here we come!
Just paid 88.9p per litre for super unleaded :)
5p off a litre due to food shopping @ Sainsbury's
would that be by the gasworks roundabout on the A316?

There's an old sign for a fuel station which obviously closed down a while ago on the A19 southbound, which proudly proclaims diesel for 63.9p per litre. This blows my fragile young mind, as I can't even remember petrol being that cheap!

Not sure which one the gas works one is, but yes it's off the A316, Hampton / Feltham junction.
There's a Yamaha shop just off that roundabout too ;) :D
I put in £40 in the week expecting it to be just over half a tank, got in and the car was full!!!

My first GALLON of petrol was 6/8 - that's 33p or put another way, 7p a litre.

Loving Tesco 99 at 97.9p right now as it no longer costs over £50 to fill up a MINI!
