View Full Version : Petrolhead Nirvana Ball 2008: Photos and vids!
Ben is working feverishly to get the photos together ...although it's possible the fever is something to do with his hangover!
I hope everyone had a good time, i have spoken to the Elvetham this morning and for some reason they would love to have us back.
personally i loved the venue so unless anyone has any objections i may well be rebooking it for next year.
so, a few highlights from me...
seeing everyone at the bar in costume, i was so impressed at the amount of effort and thought that had gone into picking outfits. the theme we chose gave a lot of scope and it was used to great effect.
the setting, Elvetham house really is stunning and traditional, but despite that, its modern enough to be able to cope with all the demands we put on it. dinner was great, the wine flowed as did lots of other drinks at the bar later on. i went down earlier in the year to check it out the location, so i knew it was going to be special.
the band....
hmmmm, they were really really good. even better than i expected! however i'll never be able to look at a stray cat again.
Karl...and the Absinthe. errm you're banned.
mivi and me and you'll never walk alone...... please tell me that was a figment of my imagination?
Nancy and the policewomans outfit...please tell me that wasn't a figment of my imagination?
so good to see some old friends, and get to know people better.
oh and to my best friend Al...WHO ARE YOU?

Top pics fella .... Really captured the er... 'spirit' of the event ! Great to meet the usual crew of course, meet soem new people and put some faces to names.
Many thanks to Harsh, Nancy, Robin & Ben for finding such a nice venue and for putting it all together. I think a good time time was had by almost all. !

Such a shame I had to cancel and it looks like a missed a great night! My loss for sure.
So what have I learned from these photos, hmmm let me see...
- Atom's are very low.
- It was a beautiful venue
