Hey Boxer.
I have a friend who is having trouble sourcing brake discs from either an F40 or F50, which have been retro-fitted to a Supra. Just wondering, given that you own both machines, if you know of a supplier that I can point him to?

I've never owned one but i do know that there are a couple of specialists who deal with F40's
DK engineering are one, although i wouldn't be that comfortable using them for my own personal reasons.
then there's Italia Autosport in Yorkshire, john Pogson races them so has a fair bit of experience.
if Boxer doesnt come back to you then you could try him.

Blimey, why make there lives so difficult/expensive. Surely a straight forward AP, Brembo or Wilwood upgrade would have made par more sense?
Sometimes there is just no reasoning for the things that we do. Petrolheads hey!

I know what you mean J. The thing is, it's a demo car built by a major tuning company in Japan (Trial Tuning Spirit), which has subsequently fallen into the lucky hands of a friend. It's rather special, and the quality of the build is mind-boggling... sure, it's a little OTT, but that's what they were going for (650hp)!

Blimey Ben...not my cup of tea but I can imagine it'll put a lot of other things to shame over a 1/4 mile.
Anyway, back to the stoppers...
James.

Sorry, missed this post. :(
On both of these cars I still use the official dealers for service. I would call either Mark or Nigel at Carrs in Exeter http://www.dealer.ferrari.com/carrs/ or Anthony Cheshire at Ferrari GB Motorsports at Silvestone. Other alternative would be to try Nick Forza in the US:
