I may be alone in this, but i am slightly disappointed it's not a mid engined car.

The original NSX set the standard for supercars back in the early 90's and to my mind is responsible for the new breed of ferrari's and Lambo's.

they had to up their game to compete.

i cant see the new one doing the same, unless there's something they're not telling us

Bachi, that's not too disimilar to a Supra is it, just with a line thrown into the arches. I also can't believe that Honda would replace the NSX with a front-engined model. I suspect this could be either a different model or coming from another maufacturer.

At least I hope so...

Yup, I'd be sorely disappointed too if indeed the new NSX isn't mid-engined. The last model was so refreshing and ahead of its time.

The so-called new Supra is a little more faithful to its beginnings but it'll be in the wrong price bracket unless they're aiming really high with performance. It was £40,000 back in '93...

Here's the rumoured new Supe... I wish mine sounded like it!

On this note, I went to Brands on Sunday to watch the final rounds of the BTCC and Porsche Cup. There was an installation from Honda celebrating the time line of the 'Type-R' and taking pride of place was a beautiful white NSX Type-R. First one I have seen in the flesh...

...Awesome.
