View Full Version : Great Driving Tunes
What do you listen to in the car?
do you have a playlist that gets played over and over again?
I tend to listen to things based on my mood and time of day.
Muse is always good for a blast.
something like
Plug in Baby or Newborn
or in the evening something like the Butchers boy album profit in poetry

Nah... proper '90's trance for me; Hudson Street by Agnelli & Nelson, Synthaesia by the Thrillseekers, Binary Finary by Matt Darey, etc... proper trance!
Trance is the way forward, anything by Above and Beyond is untouchable...

Haven't heard of them before, so YouTube'd them. Alone Tonight and Oceanic are good tracks! Still going through their others...
My current favourite driving list is very eclectic mix.
Currently in Elise is (and some may get me grief going forward):
Eye of the tiger
Don't stop me now
Apollo 440
My chemical romance
Boom! Shake the room
Life on Mars
I listen to classic rock music usually, highway to hell on the way to work by AC/DC, has a certain irony and is probably my only daily one haha.

Poison
Billion Dollar babies
or, Iron maiden
Phantom of the Opera
I gave our 19 year old dental nurse a lift home last week and she embarrassed me rummaging through my CD collection.....
Everything from Ministry of Sound, Funky House mixes to Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Metallica, Frank Sinatra.....
I prefer driving to work in the dark so you can't see me doing a bit of chair dancing.
I told her I'd been listening to Mr Oizo (from the Levi's advert) she had no idea who he was and when I realised she would have been about 10 at the time I was suitably mortified heehee.

oooo the choices:
1) Animals by Nickelback
2) She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult
3) Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace
lets bring this back up shall we....
i have playlists on my ipod for different moods and different situations.
for example...
i love playing Rage against the machine, - killing in the name of when i'm in the 360...
it's best played when people around can hear.....oh the irony!
dance and rock clearly the winners here...
my vote goes for rock...
but maybe we need to make a double album for a trip?
1 dance
1 rock
lets say 15 tracks each?
