So, here's the deal.

if we can get a minimum of 15 cars, we'll go to the Alps.
We'll be capping this tour at 20 cars so it will be first come first served.

We plan to make the most of the mountains while we're there, so we'll try and stay away from major cities and traffic traps. The hotels will be fun and the parking secure.

There will be sat nav files, route notes, maps and a support vehicle to carry a mechanic, excess luggage and any spare parts you may wish to bring (within reason of course!) all you'll have to think about is whether you want to do that pass again or go on to the next one :)

costs?

we're still working things out, but we have some ballpark costs already (and in any event they will be either at this level or lower)

If you're hardcore enough to want to do the trip on your own it will cost around £1695
for two people sharing a car/room it will be around £1095 per person.

we'll work out the cost for two people in two cars sharing if there is demand for that.

so who's in?

Now I find the details?

Kept looking for details in the other place but finished up booking my own Fly Drive, Nice to Basel in a roundabout manor.

If your doing this keep an eye open for me 9th to 14th.

Can you put up some more details of the format of these trips? I did the Euro Enduro last year which was intense driving and while "not a race" (yeah right) it got us into some trouble with Sweedish police and TV. Are your events intended to be intense or is there something more? Whats included etc?

no worries, there's always next year :)

our trips are about fun driving, when we say its not a race, it really isnt!
its about touring the best roads with a group of people.
if you like one piece of road, you can always go back and do it again!

there's no pressure to speed or get somewhere at a specific time.
we go to good hotels and travel with nice people.

Hmmm maybe the 4 hours spent at Ventoux might have been more than "go back and do it again"...
