Ok, just a suggestion, and seeing how people feel about it...

Having driven with Harsh, Tiger Two and Robin on the weekend, I think there is a huge potential to capture some short simple video's of the fleet and of the PN community in it's early stages. This would add a little spice to the ethos for newbies / upcoming members. I can state categorically that had I had my vid in the car this weekend during a short simple convoy into town, the atmopshere of the drive would have been captured perfectly. Simple formation of cars with the video car weaving / manouvering to catch different angles.

What would be IDEAL would be an early morning run, somewhere like the A3, with a few cars together, sunrise, music of the choice of the management, and some videos. Any videos taken can be *****d between the management, and then a selected few chosen to appear as the 1st "PN" videos for the site.

My setup is basic but does the job, and what I can do is capture the scene as it is. I don't expect to match the inevitable productions from what will come of the tours, but what I can do is give a snapshot in time.

My idea is a meet at sunrise this summer at some point, and some "up and down the A3" videos. Sunday morning the roads will be empty. We can choreograph nearer the time depending on how far this idea goes...

The below photo is one I took outsid emy house, if we could have this as a backdrop - the world is our oyster!!!

Who's in???

Is the A3 the road that runs into Guildford?

Bloody miles away from me, but I'm in providing I'm in the country. What time is sunrise during the summer?

the A3 is just one option (chosen because it's near Dizeee)

however having thought a little more about this, the video can be shot in multiple locations
and also combined with a photo shoot.

we've got a couple of Pro photographers in the company (and others we know in our group of friends) so it could well become a regular thing, just for a bit of fun of course.

for example, cars against different backdrops and in different seasons could make interesting subjects

Sounds good to me.

Wait until I'm back from France though please :)

I'm not a pro, but my photography isn't too bad - so happy to take plenty of shots. . . . .

I'd be up for this on a Sunday if it led to Guildford as I will be training on Sunday mornings for the next few weeks, otherwise a Saturday is good if it's nice an early.

As a help, I have a bullet cam I'm happy to use too - here's an example that has been through the PC and youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlRfDugnG18)

I'm game whenever, it really depends on what the PN crew would like in the way of material and what they want to achieve... Otherwise it would be just an excuse for a blat and a video of some of us together...

I think something informal would be fine to be honest.

PN is about having fun without too many constraints so just an ad hoc get together with some cameras and film would give a realistic view of what goes on.

In which case makes sense to tag it on to the next meet from Guildford etc...

I am not sure I will be doing tommorows run, a few things have come up.

If I do it is likely to be a last minute decision.

We will set a date though for this soon, ideally around a Goodwood Date.
