What my 8 year old son refers to as the Stormtrooper

Mine for, what will be a year in December.

Bought from Listers in Boston. It was their demo and virtually specc'ed up as I was after.

Came with Performance Pack Plus, Drivers Pack and Limited Slip Diff. All in Calcite white with the optional 19inch black rims.

Having owned a few American V8's the best thing about the Merc is the quality of the interior. Way above that found in the Saleen Mustang I had previous.

Car has now done 20,500 miles and have gone through two sets of rear tyres and had to top up the oil twice at a litre each time...

The noise and pull of the car always puts a huge grin on my face and really, unless stepping up to Porsche GT3 / Gallardo levels, can't think of another everyday road car that I would/could swap it for...

Was looking at spraying the grill matt black so decided to have a play with some matt vinyl...Did an ok job and haven't got around to change it...Makes the front end look slightly different than normal...

While in full 'Blue Peter sticky back plastic' mode, also covered the chrome bootlid strip too...

Now looking for some winter rims to go on it to help with (what little there will be) traction in the wetter / snowier weather....

That looks ace!

My daily is a year 2000 CLK55 AMG which makes me smile every time I drive it. I can't imagine how good these next generation 6.3 cars are.
