That looks gorgeous :D But i don't suppose that's much help as you know that already :p
I know nothing about these atall i'm afraid :( Good luck with it anyway and look forward to seeing it if you take the plunge :D What cars have you had previously ?
never had the time to enjoy cars....kids .hahahhahahaha complete noob
finally mate!
all that time i spent sitting next to you has finally rubbed off on you then? :)
The TR4 you've linked to looks pretty good, have you seen/driven it yet?
there are a couple of others out there which i'm sure you've seen..
also for not much more money have you thought about a Ferrari 308 GTS?

hahahahahhaahhahahaha hiya m8...........yes finally rubbed off
this company got a good rep ?
I've never heard anything bad about them, which is a good start.
They seem to have a good presence and a fair few testimonials and they do appear to be involved in the cars they sell (restoration etc)
I have asked around though and this is the first response i got.....
Have been there and talked to them a couple of years ago, very strange people and the cars they had were slightly rough around the edges but looked perfect in the pictures.
Not a specialist so not someone I'd recommend buying a TR from. What's his budget and what's he after and I'll put it around some of my trade classic car mates and see what's out there that's proper.
i'm assuming you've already done your research on the car but if you need another resource, it's worth looking here.

When I was looking for my first car a TR4 was the very first thing I went to look at. Sadly I discovered that 4k only really buys a pile of rust! If I'd leant against it my hand would have gone through! I discovered then that Triumphs in general are prone to rust having lots of areas that trap moisture. That was a long time ago though, I imagine most surviving cars have been lovingly restored and garaged.....well one hopes anyway!
NB: I wound up buying a1965 Austin Healey Sprite for my first car instead :D

I REALLY wish you wouldn't post stuff like that on here, Bachi.
:drool5:
budget of 15-25k ............ should cover most of the tr4s ...........doesnt seem to be a lot around
GAVINO,
I used to have a triumph spitfire till a couple of months ago and its an intresting thing, but you can spend any amount of money on them and they will never really be turn key cars. The reason...... they never were even when they were new. Every tenth time you go to start it it just wont, you walk away come back an hour later and yipee, life, no real rhym or reason.
The only classic I have left is a a jag xjs that looks old (it was designed in the 60s/70s) but underneath is all modern tech (its a 90s car) and it shows runs like a dream and never broken down once. Lets say i prefer this type of classic.
Just managing your expections of classic car ownership!
On the bright side, parts are quite avaliable, rimmer brothers.co.uk do lots of them and they are good for speed and service so when things go wrong you wont have trouble sorting it.
Get yourself an independent inspection ( pick up a copy of Trimph World magazine and look in the back)
Also I would join Club Triumph, they do inspection services too and gerally have decent info in there for related services.
Hope some of that helps
The car that I am currently lusting after is only just outside of your budget....you may well haggle it down a bit. Please buy it and then let me play with it :D
