Finally have it running after many many cursed problems anpd mysterious disasters, the automotive equivilent of the Amiteville house is driving:D One of the lads at the shack took it for a spin in the car park...

I towed it home tonight to wire it properly tomorrow at home, it sheared 4 wheel studs and shed a back wheel in the middle of a busy roundabout. After a very long and painful repair I got it back to the shack to discover upon closer examinationh that the brand new studs supplied by a veebud specialist were incorrectly threaded.
The curse continues - but it's a hoot to drive!

I started this one 5 years ago as a side project. I have in all that time managed around 2 weeks labour on it but it is done now, the most heavy duty rail out there, it is all 48mm tube:D

I'm not surprised you sheered a few studs given the loads bouncing around on them....
