The totally unofficial "North London" Pistonheads meet is back! And, as usual, we won't be in North London at all. We shall be meeting in Hertfordshire. Just north of Potters Bar.
We're planning to meet at 10am on Sunday 21st August at the Cowpers Arms, Letty Green, SG14 2NL. With a little 'leisurely' drive out to the pub beforehand arranged by our renowned route expert, Plenty.
Why not pop over here in the morning and then whizz around the M25 to the London Motor Museum for 1pm?
Full details of the meet can be found here.

I you're interested in attending, please take the time to put your name down on the list begun in that thread. We're trying to guage how many people can make it as August is holiday time.
Thanks and see you there on the 21st.
Yes Harsh, you can come too!

@Chris
Steve will contact those who would like to go on the run nearer the time.
Absolutely - and will keep an eye on this thread
Don't forget the London Motor Museum meet is in the afternoon if you'd like to finish the run up with a visit to an eccentric west London car collection :D

We didn't ask. We've not had anything laid on in previous meets.
I'll pop along tomorrow with a list of the attendees and check if anything can be made available. Gimme 30 hours on this.

No harm in asking :thumb:
Seems like easy money for them i would say, set up a little BBQ in the car park and run off a few rashers and sausages into french bread............ what could be easier :D Finishing touch to an otherwise perfect little Sunday meet ;)

'set up a little BBQ in the car park'
great idea, but imagine the paper work for that with health and safety 10 pages of risk assessment later…

The museum folk messaged me today......they must have heard you as the barbecue will be going at the meet, so that's lunch sorted for those coming on to the museum. In fact maybe the lure of food will attract a few more from the run :thumb:
What's more they are donating the proceeds to charity, so you can feel good about scoffing a burger :D

The weather's set fair for tomorrow.
And, with any luck, my mate Freddie will be bringing along his very new and very, very special, aluminium bodied C-type replica for us to gawp at.
See you in the morning! I'll be there at 10am (ish)

Hope I dont sound like an idiot in saying this but is this the location of the pub or where you're meeting up at firstly then driving to the pub, by the sounds of things you are meeting here and driving to the pub.

Phil, the Cowper Arms is where we will all end up for a bacon sarnie and a chat............ the drive beforehand starts somewhat further north a few hours earlier than 10am and ends at the Cowper Arms.
So to be clear the Cowper Arms is the final destination.............. see you there anytime from 10am onwards :thumb:

Brand, spanking new out of the box this very morning. Limited to 2000 rpm for the first 500 miles. I led him to the M25 after the meet and spend more time looking at his car in the mirror than I did the road ahead.
It's stunningly beautiful.
Fiona, here's one for you.

Ah yes, I met this one, and it's owner, at Spyker HQ in Holland a couple of years ago. He's been bringing it to Dad's Day Out and other meets ever since. He came along to the LMM meet too where I was spoilt for choice as Elo had brought his out to play in the sun as well. :D

Funny you should mention that, Chris. The Mrs was asking me the same thing just yesterday. I had a brief conversation about a meet before Christmas with Chris a while ago. We mentioned mid November.
If I get the chance, I'll speak to him and Stephen in the next few days.
I'm up for a meet in Nov...
very good, sounds like a consensus ;)
