Hi All,
I'm helping out as a driver, for the 2nd year at The Under 17's Driving Club Magic Day at Castle Combe on Sunday 10th July. Castle Combe Circuit, Castle Combe, Chippenham, Wiltshire. SN14 7EY
http://www.under17-carclub.co.uk/nonmembers/nonmembers.php
Arrive around 9,00am, Drivers Briefing at 9.30am. Start proceedings at 10.30am running the first session through to 12.30pm, 30 minute Lunch break. Driving will recommence at 1.00pm, shut down at 4.00pm
It's a fund raiser for the Teenage Cancer Trust, so a good a cause and a good fun day. Last year there was great turnout with some PN and PH regulars taking the public and Club members for a 'spirited ' drive round the track for charity.
Driving on the day is at ‘Owners Risk’ as the club does not hold insurance for your car. Those of you who require insurance should gain confirmation of cover from your own insurers.
Whilst the event is to held on the race circuit, I must stress that this is not a Track Day environment. The track will be laid out as a road network for two way traffic incorporating roundabouts and junctions, and young drivers from The Under 17's Club will be on track in vehicles at the same time.
If you've got a fun car that you think the public would pay for a ride in, and are interested in taking part let me know.
