2 Welsh tours in 2011, we'd love to hear what you thought of it,

this seems as good a place as any...so go ahead tell us what you think!

I think some people covered this in the drivers briefing, the Sat Nav files were VERY useful, but needed instructions for the non gadget minded to upload. Easily acquired from the manufacturers web sites, so links to that might be useful on the website or mail outs. Going a stage further, you could have a netbook etc ready and be prepared to load the files onto peoples sat navs for them before the off ?
Also, it might be an idea to either remind people to check traffic for the trip to the launch point, maybe provide them with some links to do so, or mail out / text anything significant. As I havent lived in the UK for some time, I just dont know where to look for such things anymore and as a result had a really miserable drive to the hotel on the Friday night due to accidents / road works etc.
One last thought is to perhaps have a brief synopsis of the radio procedure on the website / mail outs as it brings people up to speed a bit quicker. Its not rocket science and everyone did really well on the drive, but I was a bit hesitant as its the first time I have participated in anything remotely like this !

All in all, you guys do an excellent job !

WOW, absolutely fantastic weekend!!! Just got back from the 2nd welsh and it was so much better than i'd imagined. Weather was brilliant.... Nice one Bachi & Pete for sorting that!! :-). The roads were in great condition, smooth and pot hole free.... they were so much better than what we drive around on in oxfordshire, the Evo Triangle was such a blast but THE best driving happened on the way to the top of the Black Mountains! Incredible roads guys, well researched! The Hotel was good...... always arrange a Swedish in the Spa on arrival and the rest of the weekend will flow nicely :-) The people on the tour were a good mix and everyone got on well... one piece of advice though.... make sure your sat nav works before you go as it would be a nightmare if you were to get lost TWICE in one day (Janelle) :-)
Thanks Guys, Brilliant weekend!

Fully agree with Nick here - a fantastic weekend with some great roads, great organisation and lovely weather.

Compared to the Alpine trip I did last year with Circuit Days this was sooo much better organised. The walkie talkies were great and the sat nav files helped with directions. The use of a lead car and follow car was really useful with so many minor roads being used on the trip.

A big thanks to Pete and Bachi

I'll be back...

Hi Bachi and Pete

This the second year that Richard and I have done this trip and enjoyed it very much it was certainly better with less cars this year and doing it over two weekend so no one lost out was a great idea thank you. Also a BIG thank you for arranging the weather too lol.
