If you like your motors modified, then the december issue of Modified classics Retro Cars is for you! This month, there's a feast in store with a special feature on a beautiful Mk1 Ford Escort powered by a race spec 2.0ltr XE Vauxhall lump, plus an 8 page spread on a car that regularly finds its way to the Ace, Dougie McColm's Awesome 1972 Imperial Blue Mini. This car is AMAZING, as anyone who's seen it will agree, being lavishly clad in beautifully crafted Carbon, courtesy of the incredibly talented Richard Garbas making it a stand out favourite at the recent Sunday Service at Silverstone Porsche. To find out more about both these cars and a host of others, get your copy today!

I do buy that one occasionally, a few of my old ones are kicking around the shack......apart from the one with the modernised Merc 300SL in, Harsh has that! Love that mini, will definitely look out for it.

Ive never brought that mag before but seeing a familiar sight of Dougies mini alongside a stunning Mk1 Escort forced my hand, there was a stunning JPS Lotus Europa in the mag as well, so well worth buying!!!! :-)

When I was a kid, a neighbour's son owned a Europa. I loved it to bits. But, I was too shy to ask him about it. Or ask him for a ride in it either.
