The 2011 Brittany Tour july 15th (Fri) - 18th (Mon)

We know you all love the long euro trips and so do we. Sometimes though it's tough to get away for 7 or 8 days so rather than having you miss out, we've created our Brittany tour which is just 4 days long and over a weekend too so you only have to take 2 days off work.

The previously unknown Brittany roads are largely empty of tourists and are amongst the most fun to drive in France.
There are some beautiful chateaux along our route and we know the good ones which wont break anyones budget.

So 4 days, great roads and lovely places to stay and eat....sound like fun?

That would be a highly likely probable. We were just discussing a trip thru Normandy and Brittany.

Hmm. I only get back from a previous holiday on 13th July but as this is a weekend, definitely interested.

Someone mentioned Pont Aven - I have been there quite a few times and it has rained every single time.

Can I suggest the Cote Granit Rose on the north coast. Lovely area around Tregastel-Plage, Ploumanach and Perros-Guirec

Morning all.

Been a lurker over here for a while and thought I’d sign up to register interest for this. Have spent a lot of time over the past few years in Northern Brittany and know the area (and roads) pretty well, particularly the space from St Brieuc over to Carhaix, up to Morlaix in the North and Loudeac in the South. I’m usually over there for a couple of weeks around the dates of the tour so it would be great to make it part of the holiday.

The roads around the Paimpont forest are good fun
The area due South of Morlaix (especially the D769) through the Monts d’Arree has some great roads
The D767 from Corlay to Guingamp is a belter and a bit of a ritual visit for me every time I’m over there.

Trying to weigh this one up against Wales......... both if funds will allow...... but if not i'd like to get over the water for this one in preference to the Welsh tour :)

You should also try out the area of Champagne!! The roads are a lot of fun to drive, and there's is obviously quite good wining & dining around ;-)
