Hi guys and girls,
Thought I'd introduce myself.....I'm Peter Johnson and I run Primo Registrations.
If you're after any plates or advice about the DVLA please don't hesitate to ask. If you need to find out about transferring a plate then just give us a call. We will of course give you preferential treatment as a fellow member!
There's our free iPhone app, plus you'll catch us in the paddock normally at Goodwood breakfast clubs if you want to see us in person.
Website site is www.primoregistrations.co.uk or you can speak direct on 0800 0484 769.
Cheers
Peter

This may appear to be a silly question BUT....how much would you say " C4HNT " would be worth?
Ive alwasys wondered why people would put a plate like "RR1" on a 1996 toyota corolla with terrible paintwork. What am I missing? Cant you retain it on paper?

Hi,
Sorry just seen your posts so only just got chance to reply.
C4HNT is worth a couple of hundred. Not a great deal, but it doesn't mean anything word wise and there are plenty of plates with those initials available.
ChrisC - yes you can always retain a number, but there's a lot of old money out there where the people just don't care.....they've probably had the plate in their family throughout the years and will continue to do so. Don't forget A1 is on a Mini and H1 is on an Avensis.
I drive "Killer" K17LER which also reads as kizler if you're German :o

It suits my car beautifully and I definitely don't want to sell it so just tell me it's worthless and don't let anyone tempt me with silly offers.
NB: Diablo Pete and chrissy have first dibs if I do ever sell. Don't know why, they already have, Peter, Chrissy, Awesome and A Spy. :D

My Maserati's plate reminds me of my daughter's name. At my age, it's easy to forget stuff!

with regards to C4HNT i would disagree somewhat as it does 'sort of' spell something (t certainly makes me laugh every time i see/think of it on a car)....
have another look and see if you can work it out ;)
