I'm posting this up on behalf of a friend who is one of the organisers of a unique upcoming charity event in Central London in support of the Chelsea Pensioners. It's being hosted by 5 times Le Mans winner Derek Bell.

Bring your Supercar

They have room for 500 supercars. So if you have a Ferrari, Lamborghini etc, you can bring it along and put it on display.

To register your car you need to do the following:

2. Once your application has been accepted, you will be sent details on how to purchase your ticket.




Who are the Chelsea Pensioners?

A Chelsea pensioner is an in-pensioner at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, a retirement home and nursing home for ageing or infirm veteran soldiers to whom the nation owes a debt of gratitude.



Admission

You need to purchase tickets in advance.

Cars: £20 (including driver)
Passengers & foot customers: £12
Children under 16: FREE

No "payment on the day"

Proceeds go to the Chelsea Pensioners Charity.



Automobile Clubs

Clubs are invited to contact the organisers if they wish to have a Club Stand.

So if you put your Surpecar on display, you still have to purchase a ticket?

Seems a bit odd? If people did not bother bringing their supercars would not be much of a show would it!

For a deserving cause so will be worth the money.

Are PnH going to do a display? I know my car isn't super enough for this but I may attend as I'm off work that weekend. If there is going to be a stand and you want anything taking let me know as I should have some boot space.
