:eek: You got an Atom? I'd never have guessed... :D
I have to say, having only ever driven an Atom 2 220 (which was amazing) before, the Atom 3 300 is an incredible car.
power delivery is sublime, you can forget everything else on four wheels.
you press the loud pedal and watch the scenery go all stargate!
I knew the Atom was a good car, but i didnt realised just how good it was until i drove Bruce's last weekend.
it made the last week of waiting almost unbearable, but we were at the factory at 9.45am and i'm only just posting now!

She looks a good'un buddy. What a fantastic piece of engineering.
Now you'll be arguing over who has to put up with driving the Ferrari. :D

i think i might be driving the 360 on sunday :(

Fantastic choice Harsh!
Would LOVE one myself!! Is there much more room inside compared to a caterham?

Gotta tell you though mate, the above did make me chuckle!!! ;)
:D
it was meant to be my car :(
it's now our car, but i'm not sure how long i'll be allowed to drive it.
the more she drives, the more i get relegated :(
admittedly not exactly slumming it though

Yes there is - especially in the Atom 3. You should have a sit-in...
Harsh what would be a rough 1/4 mile time for the Atom 3 and at what speed?
Is it true that a GT2 will hit 100mph on around 7.9 seconds?
Im debating elsewhere and would just like some facts answered, thanks...
good question...
i'm not sure, but i'll find out!

Off the top of my head, the best time so far for an Atom 2 300 was 10.74 at Santa Pod. Can't remember the terminal velocity though. To my knowledge, no one has yet dragged a 3. I do, however have a Gtech I could attach to Bachi's car...
Thanks, the debate I am having revolves around a bloke who has a stripped Pug 205 producing a non dyno'd 220bhp that he reckons will outperform an Evo FQ300...
Our conversation moved onto quarter mile time, of which he thinks a stock M3 will do in 10 seconds and a GT2 in 7.9. Having a fairly good knowledge of quarter mile times, I think he is way off beam. If 501 supercharged V8's do it in around the 12 mark on a good day, and cerbera's around the same, and also from what I have looked up over my own time perusing, I have seen stock M3's come in around the 12.5 to maybe 13 mark. No idea about the GT2 although I would not have thought less than 10-11.
I wanted to use the Atom as being around the 8-9 second mark to disprove his GT2 theory and generally make him look the tool I think he is!
I got to passenger in an Atom 2 the other week and considering I was beaming all night afterwards, I can only imagine how much your face must be aching :D

I wouldn't worry or continue the debate. The chap is obviously a ignorant knob of the first order...
I am so jealous of the Atom Harsh. I really wanted one but with only one garage and the race car in there I was stuck hence the Elise.

James, in the world of Supras, it takes around 1100HP and a stripdown to 1390kgs (with driver) to get close to a 8.6 second / 159mph quarter mile. Granted, it's heavy. But that's a real world example for comparison if you must.
But even that can't compare to an atom. :D
Thanks Ben, his figures are all way out anyway bloke seems not to know an awful lot...
