I was thinking about the Saturday too, since there's a dash from Goodwood to Portsmouth afterwards for the start of the Le Mans Classic Tour.

I usually go on the saturday too, though I haven't made any firm plans yet. Most years all three days are sell out's Carol, if anything I've found the saturday to be the quietest day. Friday tends to be rammed because friday tickets are cheaper and sunday is always full because it's the main race/timed day.

I went Friday last year took me 9 hours to get back to Peterborough, due to traffic! RTA on the A3, and M25 was solid all the way round.going to give it a miss this year!

Yep I remember that tooooo well :( Major accident on the A3 at Guildford I think.

My cam position sensor decided to fail on the Mitsubishi as I tried to leave Goodwood, so call to AA and then over 2 hours for poor recovery driver to get to me, then another 6 hours on the M25/A3 back to Wembley.
Didn't get home til 10.30pm. I was supposed to be onstage in the West End at 11pm, car swap and still made it for first song 11.15pm.... No idea how.. :bowtie:

I Hope you like and can see that this years FoS is gonna be pretty epic i know from speaking to Goodwood PR that tickets are selling out fast and are limited this year.

I went 2 years ago and going from St Neots it took me 5 hours to get there due to an accident on the M25 and then traffic around Good wood and about 3 hours to get home. That said it was a nice relaxed day when we got there (Saturday) and not at all crowded, except in the smaller areas where the cars were on display.

I may head along this year but am undecided as yet!

Had a hell of a job finding it this year.............. always used to get an e-mail link to free tickets in years gone by.......... but they seem to have re-vamped their sites as i had to re-register :( Then just used the search facility to find what i was lookung for :) maybe it's been too popular in the past and they want to make it a little harder for people to find :confused:

Just applied for the Times online free ticket deal, it's on the friday only though, so still bought tickets for the saturday as that's seems the day all the cool kids are going.. !

(I persoanlly like Ockham cos you can get a egg n' bacon roll and a tea at the hut before you leave)
