View Full Version : If I ever get bored of my Tuscan...
... would a Harley VRSDC Nightrod be an alterntive?
I know that Dan might probably decide not to speak to me anymore but I like the looks and with a little help from a nice exhaust I am sure I can annoy my neighbours the same way I annoy them at present...
But I have never driven a Harley and I would be grateful for your thoughts.
Thanks
Carol

Nightrod is lovely - it's a sort of modern interpretation of the Nighttrain (which is a blacked out Softtail)
You get the modern watercooled lump and it actually corners reasonably well. VERY HEAVY though.
Harley Davidson dealers are great for test rides though, if you fancy trying one at Thames Valley Harley Davidson (Slough) let me know and i'll come and keep you company, maybe even come out on a test ride with you if they have two bikes :)
Thanks for the kind offer, Pete! :)
I guess I'll take you up on that.

This is what came up when I Googled it -

So I guess I might still speak to you :D
Apart from the fact that this is not the bike I meant,
it might be a bit chilly...
(oh, I am such a girl!)
I'm new here so its nice by first post is something I know about. My advice is 'go for it' and have both, because your never going to get bored of a Tuscan.
I have a VRSCDX, the Nightrod Special, so it has forward pegs and a 260mm rear. Love every second on it, would be hard to swap, even for a Tuscan.

Carol's a bit far away to go for a test ride in Slough these days!
This thread's over a year old - I think she'll be sticking with the TVR. :D
