Can anyone please recommend a decent hotel in the vicinity?

Needs to have secure parking and a good breakfast! (and not be too heavy on the wallet!)

Many thanks :)

I don't like driving at night http://www.jonrb.com/emoticons/pale.gif; so not far (30 minutes?) or so...

there is a holiday inn on the north circular itself near brent cross so about 10 mins drive, its high rise with nice views over london!

or even better, its about 3 mins drive from the ace at hangar lane, the crowne plaza. I havent been there but my freind lives next to it and uses the gym/bar there and rates it highly.

There's a Holiday Inn opposite Brent Cross shopping Centre,

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g186338-d262453-Reviews-Holiday_Inn_London_Brent_Cross-London_England.html

It's five minutes' drive from the Ace. Trip advisor says there's parking with a surcharge. In faxt, there are several hotels within easy drive of the Ace.

HTH Ali.

ETA: It's the same hotel as ChrisC mentions. Though he says ten minute's drive & I say it's only five. Obviously, I'm a faster driver than he is!

The Holiday Inn in Golders Green is also not far 10 -15 mins for the ace although the one oppersite Brent Cross has got to be the closest.

See you Monday,

Actually, that's inspired. No need to use the North Circ. at all.

I'll probably check in there too.

Even though I live in Southgate!

I'm not sure... that Travelodge is at least 300 yards from the ACE.

Are they hotels that you would leave your car in overnight? ;)

IIRC the Travel lodge has a 'semi secure' car park. barrier access etc etc.
