Apparantly so, there is a private invite event which it is speculated it will feature at! Persoanlly I cannot wait, if its anywhere near as good as my iPhone i will buy one straight away

It looks aestetically pleasing as with all apple products, completely pointless though. Many many features missing that you'd expect. And how do you propose you watch TV/Film on it? Hold it for 2 hours?
Yea, the worldwide availability looks like 60 days from now, prices should be directly comparable to the us prices. One of the products that will sell well is a stand that allows you to watch it without holding. I agree it is really fairly pointless, but it does do what It was designed to do, which was create a new market segment to exploit. At £400 (likely price for base model) it is only a tad more expensive than a netbook and in my opinion more functional. I will buy the base edition when it is released and see if I like it, if I do I will wait till revision 2 (which will have some extra features no doubt) and then buy the top spec.
