Welsh Weekender Itinerary

Day 1: 270 Miles

On Saturday morning we enjoy a leisurely breakfast before choosing one of two options:

We will be assembling in the car park for a drivers’ briefing before heading north and into the Snowdonia National Park for our adventures. We’ll visit Snowdon, Lake Bala, Betws-Y-Coed and the (in)famous “Evo Triangle” before returning back to the hotel to be reunited with anyone who chose the second option for dinner and drinks. The Welsh roads are famed for their fun factor and at the end of Day 1 you’ll know precisely why.

Or, if you don’t feel like driving, you can enjoy the facilities at the hotel and spa including:

  • 18m heated swimming pool

  • Spa, sauna and steam room

  • Gym, with individual TVs and sound systems
  •
A selection of holistic treatments (available at additional cost)
  • Day 2: 130 Miles

On Sunday morning, after another hearty Welsh breakfast, we all head south to the Brecon Beacons National Park for some tortuous tarmac action which will, of course, include the famous Black Mountain Road and end at one of our favourite pubs for a carvery lunch.
